Cabin was great! I stayed to run the Millinocket half marathon. Host greeted me when I got there as he saw I was looking at where to park and he was super friendly! Cabin was perfect - cozy and warm, very comfortable!
Everything was awesome! It was the perfect size for two people! Super comfy and cozy. We were in a great spot- short drive to some cool towns, and close to mountains for some hikes! It was super quiet, we enjoyed every second! Easy to find and checkin!
We needed to travel to Brownville in a pinch. We were fortunate to find this little cabin and had a great stay. It was neat and clean and if we decide to travel to this area of Maine again, we will definitely keep it in mind.
I wanted to be out in the country but feel safe at the same time. This was just the ticket. It is in a country setting, but being close to the main house I felt very safe and secure. The cottage is a small one, but for one or two people it is just perfect. It is a perfect quiet get away when you just want to absorb nature and the quiet.
The cabin was very neat and VERY clean. Everything was as described. Had everything you need. The bedroom was a tight fit and the mattress could use replacing - the bed is pushed against a wall making it difficult for more than one person to access the bed without climbing over the other person. The location was off the beaten path. The property seemed to be progress- meaning there appeared to be a number of projects going on which led to a very unkept feeling. The property had empty wire spools and other items around the cabin.Be aware that the cabin is very close to the host home which did not translate in the pictures or description. The host respects yourprivacy, but made it clear if you needed him he was available. Very quiet spot very dark to enter the property, great restaurant at the end of the road.Great for rugged folks busy outdoors all day. Thanks for the stay!
