IMPORTANT INFO

- QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD: In Tahoe it’s so quiet at night that you could hear a pin drop! As a result, we can only host quieter groups that will abide by all of the county laws. Our guests are normally fine as long as they head inside or to the casinos after 10pm. Appreciate your understanding!

- KEEP TAHOE BLUE: Please help us keep Tahoe a natural wonder by appropriately disposing of trash when visiting our beaches and trails. If you pack it in, please pack it out.

- REVIEWS: We kindly ask for understanding and compassion when sharing feedback about this home, just as we strive to approach responding to reviews with empathy. We understand that experiences can vary, and what might not meet one person's expectations could exceed another person’s expectations. - TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend that all of our lovely guests purchase travel insurance as we normally do not refund for Covid, smoke, fires, weather, snow storms, road closures, etc. 

- WINTER TRAVEL ADVISORY: After the historic Winter of 2023, we recommend 4WD vehicles with snow tires, tire chains and experience driving in the snow. Emphasis on snow tires. Tahoe roads are icy and power outages are common. Please always wear snow boots and walk with care on icy pathways.

- BBQ/DECKS IN WINTER: Due to snow levels and freezing temps, BBQs are not serviced and decks are not shovelled during the Winter but if you can dig it out and there is propane - feel free to use!

- LATE CHECK OUT: Please let us know 24 hours prior to check out, if you wish to request a late check out. First hour is free then $25/hour after that, not to exceed 1pm. Please note our cleaners sometimes travel for up to 1 hour to clean this home so we ask that you please respect the 10am check out time.

- NO AC: Like most homes in Tahoe, there is no AC but we do provide plenty of fans.

- HIGH FIRE RISK: Lake Tahoe is a high-risk fire area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, smoking/improper disposal of cigarette butts and charcoal bbq’s are prohibited.

- BLACK BEARS: Black bears inhabit Lake Tahoe and are attracted to food and trash. Always lock your car doors, roll up windows and view from afar. Please do not feed our bears.

- TOWELS: We supply one bath towel, one wash cloth per occupant and then one hand towel per bathroom.

- SECURITY: Most of our homes have exterior-only security cameras and noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure we are in compliance with the county ordinance but we take our guests privacy VERY seriously. There is never indoor cameras. Most owners only look to see bears and snow levels at their homes :)

- MOUNTAIN CRITTERS: It’s not uncommon at any home in Tahoe to find little mountain mice, spiders, spider webs, ants, mosquitos, etc. Our homes have on-going extermination services but despite our best efforts, these little critters might make their way inside. If found it doesn’t mean a home is dirty, let us know and we will do our best to mitigate such findings.

Cozy home in a great quiet neighborhood! House is well equipped with everything you need. The hot tub and pool table were great additions! House is approx 10 min car ride to the casinos and about a 10-15 min walk to the beach!

This was a wonderful property in a good location and was perfect for our New Year’s vacation

Convenient location especially to SnowGlobe! The cabin was very clean when we got there, has a great floor plan and plenty of room. The pool table was definitely a bonus. Although there is a hot tub we did not get a chance to use it as it is not allowed after 10pm. These are rules for rental properties in South Lake Tahoe and not proper owner rules. We understand these rules and had no problem abiding to them. We couldn’t get the TV upstairs to work but other than that it was wonderful. The fireplace also was a nice touch. Thank you for the great rental experience!

Comfortable home in a safe & quiet neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay at this home on Paloma. We were about an $18 uber ride away from the casinos. We felt really safe in the neighborhood. We actually accidentally left our minivan sliding door completely open all night, not just unlocked, but wide open. We were surprised to learn nothing was taken from our car. This home is in a residential area so we followed protocol to be quiet by 10pm to not get cited with a noise complaint as instructed by the property managers. My only suggestion for the property, and why i didn’t give it 5 stars would be to put more mirrors up to facilitate getting ready in the different rooms. To provide more utensils. We found 5 forks total, and to put curtains up in the room that is adjacent to the hot tub. The full french door and window provided zero privacy. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay, and very easy booking, check in process and close to everything.

Overall home was nice but a little outdated, pool table old and uneven, one pool stick was broken, game room cold with no heat vents. One thing I thought was strange that bathroom doors have lock function but don’t actually lock the door, still able to open from outside the bathroom (I guess maybe as safety measure so doors don’t get locked accidentally), was kinda annoying because we had to make sure to announce we would be in the bathroom when using it. Convenient location, close to stores and restaurants. We had a lot of fun here but would probably not stay here again. We did pay a lot for our stay too.

Great place to stay for a winter mountain getaway

My family with two other families spent Thanksgiving at this house. It was a perfect getaway for the three families. Plenty of bedrooms and places to sleep for the kids. Amenities were sufficient for staying in and cooking. We did not venture out a lot (all of the children are under 2) but the town is a very short drive and there are a lot of nice restaurants and things to do within a very short drive or uber. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Just like going in to your own home

It had all the space for each one of us and more. We didnt strugle at all, they had extra blankets, extra towels, extra beds, and all kitchen utensils i might possibly need. We were able to enjoy this home to the fullest with our children, and best of all we were close to casinos/ comunity /stores/restaurants/views. I really feel it was more than we expected and very cozy. Thank you very much.

Nice Place - hot tub, not so hot

Close to many things. Home is spacious and orderly. If you like a hot tub that you need to easy into because it's "hot," then this isn't the one. It get warm, but not much beyond a hot bath. The management company thinks this should be acceptable for renters, but for us, we actually wanted a hot tub that gets hot, not warm. Only real disappointment in the place.

The gathering rooms in this property are very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room for dining, relaxing, playing games and puzzles. The fireplace was super cozy! Also we really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Would suggest some of the pots and pans be updated. And that the Fridge be updated. Also there were some cobwebs in the stairwell. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Really nice, spacious home, highly recommend.

Stayed here just after Christmas and the house was wonderful, very well maintained, clean, spacious, all the amenities needed for a nice getaway. Huge kitchen, with all the stuff you need to cook and dine in. Close to everything, but still in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to a great coffee shop and wine bar, as well as food and shops, and a wonderful meadow with lake access nearby. The next door neghbor is a really sweet lady as well. No complaints, would rent again.

Great House in a quiet neighborhood

We spent Thanksgiving week in this house, it was perfect. The large fully equipped kitchen was great for cooking and serving a full Thanksgiving dinner. The home is roomy, comfortable and clean. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are both large, one with a tub/shower combo and the other a large shower. The location is close to all the amenities but also tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was cleaned and filled before our arrival. Overall, a great home to spend our week.
