Our trip to the beach was intended for one of our elderly dogs. He needed to see the beach! We loved how pet friendly this home was. The out door shower was perfect for rinsing sand. Great location and very comfy for all of us. Small walk to the beach. Hopefully, guests enjoy it as much as we do.

The house and weather was perfect. The home had every kitchen gadget you’d need. Loved the sauna and proximity to the beach. I think Arch Cape is an overlooked gem and hope it stays that way. They even had dog dishes and poop bags on hard. Kids beach toys, huge big screen tv’s. Everything was pristine clean and we can’t wait to go back.

Betty’s Place is in an amazing location. Arch Cape is absolutely beautiful and so much quieter than the busier Cannon Beach. The house is just a short 2 minute walk from the beach. The hot tub also felt amazing after a cooler walk on the beach!There were just a couple things that were strange about the house that I passed along to the owner. There are not window coverings on all of the windows, which isn’t a deal breaker but there wasn’t one on the bathroom which looks out to the front of the house. We tried to hang towels up over the window so we could shower at night. There are also some uneven stairs on both the staircase leading up to the house and the really strange set of interior stairs that go down to the lower level. I think the house was pieced together with multiple additions but it’s a pretty serious trip hazard so if you have anyone elderly or disabled, this is definitely not the house for you.The yard is really overgrown so it isn’t really useable at all. There is a small back porch but it must be used a lot by smokers so we had to leave that door closed during our stay.Anyway, I’d still recommend it if you’re looking for a quirky place close to the beach. Low tide in this location is unbeatable! Just in general and for the price we paid, it needs a few updates and it would be awesome!

Host was extremely responsive and communicated effectively. House is located where you can go under the 101 so it is easy to get on going north or south
