We stayed at The Pointe in 30A, managed by Panhandle Getaways, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing.When we arrived at 11:00 PM, there were no instructions on how to access the property or even which building/floor the unit was on. After circling the complex in frustration, we only found our room thanks to a security guard. Despite advertising 24/7 guest support, my calls and texts went completely unanswered until the following morning.Other advertised amenities were also a problem. The WiFi information we were given was incorrect — and when I reported this, I was initially argued with before it was confirmed I was right. The bicycles listed as an amenity were unusable because the code provided didn’t work.The unit itself was nice, but the management was unresponsive, unhelpful, and created unnecessary stress during what should have been a relaxing vacation. I attempted to work directly with Panhandle Getaways for a fair resolution but was dismissed.If you’re considering this property, be aware that while the location is good, the lack of reliable management and support makes the stay much more difficult than it should be.
