Eshay has built an oasis in the woods. I loved how peaceful it felt down at my cabin and enjoyed listening to the owls at night. The main camp and showers/bathrooms were incredibly clean and the water gets very hot very quickly, which was so nice. The bed was clean and comfortable. Eshay was a great host, very kind and communicative.

Perfect getaway to unplug. The cabin we stayed in was tucked away within a grove of eastern white pine trees. The sound of the wind whipping through the needles of the trees was just what we needed. Wagons were offered to shuffle belongings to cabins. There was plenty of space between sites so we had our privacy. Communication with camp host was super easy and clear instructions. She answered all our questions and made us feel at home. Facilities were clean. 20 minutes from ithica which was perfect and beautiful hiking within walking of campground. We have an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back.

A great getaway!

A very pleasant getaway. Eshay was helpful and friendly. I had a great balance of privacy, with conveniences (hot shower, fresh water, a knowledgeable host) nearby. Would definitely recommend!

Our first time experience in a RUSTIC cabin

Settled in the woods this rustic cabin is as basic as it is going to get. One step Up from tent camping . We loved It except has to take a wagon from the parking lot and wheel it to our cabin (a 3 min) trip. With the rain and the mud you need boots which we did not have . It has a table and chairs so you can eat inside or Play card games ir even write (desk ) it has one , two beds but unfortunately with air mattress which made it hard to sleep . Worst thing was it only has screen doors that can lock not no read doors and screens only have 1/2 of the curtains so when you sleep you can see the woods . Pitch black at night so you need flashlights !! Outhouse near our cabin so it was good . Bathrooms were extremely clean Which I was Surprised . Owner was pleasant And easy to talk too . Overall Good experience ! For mature enthusiasts don’t forget Buttermilk falls which is 20 Minutes away In Ithaca . Lots to see and do , wineries. Cornell university and Ithaca university , shops , places To eat and lots of hiking trails

A great woodsy getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Camp Earth Connections. As advertised, the Rustic Retreat Cabin was just the basics, a couple of cots, a roof over our head, a fire ring and a small charcoal grill, and a battery lantern. It had no electricity or wifi – if you want modern conveniences, a couple of cottages up near the entrance have lights and a small fridge, etc., and are near the wifi at the main pavilion where the showers are. We preferred being farther into the woods with fewer neighbors (though still just a few minutes’ walk). Susan, the hostess, is great and has taken great care with COVID precautions, outfitting all showers, bathrooms, and even the privies with spray bottles of disinfecting solutions. We loved the constant birdsong, the sound of rain on the roof, and the peaceful woods surrounding us. We hope to return soon!

Camp Earth Connection Stay

This is one of the best camping spots ever. Great area for a getaway, yet close enough to Ithaca to enjoy the city. Would love to come back!
