This cute little cottage was perfect for our needs. We were there eight nights and proximity of the cottage made visiting many different parts of the Cape possible. Much care is given to this rental… There are flowers, galore, and sweet touches. We definitely stay here again.
We used it mostly as a sleeping pad since we had family nearby and spent our days with them. Very well maintained, great location. It would be more appealing if there weren't so much of the owner's stuff around. It was impossible for us to think of it as "our place" for the time we had rented it.
Definitely could do with a good clean, cobwebs and dust. It's very small, no laundry facilities. Overall given the price it's probably what you should expect. A couple of miles to the closed restaurant.
We really enjoyrd our stay at "Cranberry," as the proud owners call it. It is a small home, but everything was just enough for us. Nice deck, big family room, decent sized bedrooms, and bathroom was also big enough. Shower was spacious. The kitchen is small, but we made do without issue.
The area is lovely. Hilly and private, it was perfect for our bikes. We rode them for ice cream to Smitty's every night, and put our kayaks in at the Weeset beach down the road, dropped our car off at the house (avoiding parking fees) and paddled over the bay to the national seashore. There was a calm, shallow, protected beach on the inside of the dunes perfect for youngsters, then a short walk through the foot pass took us to basically oir own private plot on the ocean at a top 5 beach in the WORLD!!! This was woth the trip alone. We did this 4 of our days. The others were used taking advantage of the central location of this home on the cape; Nickerson State Park and the Provincetown rock Jeddy hike were twon other highlights. Great food, fun shops.
The owners provide very detailed suggestions if you like other facets of the cape.
We have no complaints considering our price point. It was a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the cape OUR way, and we loved it.
Generally a great experience and size right for the two of us but no more comfortably. Nice decor.
Quick and effective, well organized and communicated. Gift bags were a surprise and useful. Local real estate office did a fine job.

Needs total update
The location is wonderful. The outside is cute. Everything inside needs to be updated. The smell other reviewers noted is definitely still very present. I booked last minute and should have done more research. Unfortunately I cannot recommend staying here.
This cottage was quintessential Cape Cod... Close to ocean beaches, cute little restaurants, and downtown shopping yet in a secluded and peaceful setting... It was perfect for a couple.. big enough for two couples for a short period... Definitely would rent again!
My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We picked up the keys from the realtor and also received a welcome gift from the owner. We love Orleans, so the location was great. The hammock outside was wonderful and the landscaping beautiful, but the grill was a little rusty and the outdoor shower was not enclosed. Perhaps the greatest drawback to this cottage was the musty smell. Everything I brought soaked in the smell and had to be soaked and washed when I got home. In spite of all that, I would still consider staying here again, especially if they changed out the carpet.
The property is beautiful, location restful and convenient. The smell in the cottage was overpowering, it was musty and got into everything. It is a well appointed cottage but very small. I would not rent the property again because of the smell.
