Cozy and inviting! Kathleen was very responsive and made us feel very welcome. She was kind enough to let us meet her sweet animals. The jacuzzi tub was an added bonus— the water got nice and hot like I like and the red light made me feel like I was at a spa. Would definitely book again!

Six of us stayed to celebrate my son’s graduation from Thomas College. It was perfect! The property has a beautiful Balance of rustic farmhouse and modern conveniences. Our host was wonderful, the check in was easy, the house was immaculate, and the beds were comfy. I would stay here again!

What an awesome farm! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kathleen is awesome. It was a 10- minute drive to Colby College- our destination for a football game! Our team won so that was really fun!! The house is very clean and very comfortable! Kathleen has thought of everything and she is delightful!

Thank you for the kind words! I really appreciate it and it was great to host you and your Husband and awesome dog!!
The farmhouse was clean and charming. The kitchen was well-stocked. Kathleen was an excellent communicator. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable— including making a bonfire for smores! We loved getting to be with her sweet kitties and amazing donkeys, mule, and horse.
The property we rented was as advertised - 3 bedrooms and a 10-minute drive from Colby College, where we attended our college reunion. The house was older but had modern appliances, 2 bathrooms, a washer and dryer. The home is on a farm with horses and a mule on the premises, which we enjoyed. The owner lives in an addition attached to the home. She was most engaging and attentive to our questions and needs. The only drawback for senior citizens like us is that the stairs going up to the 2nd-floor bedrooms are steep, making it somewhat difficult to carry our luggage upstairs.Overall, a very positive experience for us.

Thank you Steve for your kind words! It was a pleasure hosting you, your wife and the other couple.
Kathleen is an incredibly thoughtful and gracious host. From coffee and oatmeal on the kitchen counter to a tea pot filled with water upon our late night arrival, Kathleen had thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was well equipped, towels were plentiful, and we even had a fun visit with the animals.

I enjoy meeting new people and sharing my home with them. There is something special about this place and I hope those who stay will feel a bit of the magic that I do each and every time I walk through the doors.
Why they chose this property
I have the best of both worlds here. Close to so many amenities yet being on the 9 acres that abuts to a couple hundred acres of woods and fields, it’s a little slice of heaven to me.
What makes this property unique
The history of the house and farm. The original house was built in the 1800’s and they built the adjoining unit in the early 1900’s. The barn, built in the 1700’s, used to house cattle. It needs some tlc but the original wood beams are still intact, which just adds to the charm of the farm
