It was clean with a beautiful view. Very good location for walking around town and all the restaurants and activities on main street. I wish there had been a TV

Thank you for your kind review of the apartment and Beacon. I haven't had a TV in years, most people use wifi. Only lately from VRBO have I heard about TV, maybe I will be more clear about it in the listing.
This apartment was spotless. The view across the Hudson was spectacular. Proximity to the train station and downtown eateries was perfect. Certainly walkable distances. We would return in a heartbeat. Great place to trek into NYC or explore the local attractions.

Lovely words from a lovely guest- Beacon does hope you return indeed!
Our family of 3 and our dog were right at home at this wonderful VRBO! What a beautiful, relaxing view of the Hudson and a quick walk over to Long Dock Park. We were busy in and out for a weekend wedding. We had to rehearse with our guitar and violin. Dev was so accommodating of that. We also found it easier to stay in and cook our meals. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and even more so, Dev had some foods she welcomed us to help ourselves to. Truly hope to be back for another stay!

Dev’s place is beautiful with a well-stocked kitchen, pear tree, and even tomatoes in the back garden! Walkable to Dia Becon, Beacon Main Street, and the train station. We had a lovely weekend there!
This property is in a terrific location, within walking distance of the river and train, and a short drive to main st. Beacon is a lovely place to visit and the restaurants are wonderful, some with chefs from the Culinary Institute nearby. Definetly worth a visit.
Gorgeous space with spectacular views of the Hudson river. Super short walk to the both the DIA Beacon and the Metro North Train station. Easy 10-15 minute walk to town for cafes/restaurants or take the free Beacon bus. Excellent restaurants: Had an amazing meal a the Wild and great meal at Momo.
We had a lovely time staying in this beautiful space. What the listing does not fully capture is how well curated the space is, full of intriguing bits of Art and gracious style. An easy walk to DIA and the park on the river, and a very short drive into town made this a wonderful space for a getaway weekend!
There were No Amenities! No TV, No Radio & NO HEAT! It was 59 degrees inside. The owner knew there was no heat and didnt tell us until I called her. She made us drive all the way from Brooklyn just to freeze and leave the next morning. I should be getting all my money back!

Media is offered via WiFi. I offered to loan a laptop but Richard said he wasn't tech savvy. I sent notice in writing that it may be cool, but there are two electric heaters as backup, which I noted in writing as soon as I knew the cold snap did something, and additionally by phone. Richard could only locate one heater. The plumber was called as soon as I knew, the heat was not off, just a sensor malfunctioned. It was 17 degrees outside, 60 inside. Richard asked for a refund and I processed what he asked for immediately. I am sorry it wasn't up to his standards, I did what was possible.
Quiet neighborhood with nice views of the river. Description was fairly accurate except we did not anticipate the home owner would be upstairs. Felt somewhat uncomfortable like we had to keep our voices low.

Thank you booking, and for the complimentary review.
It says it's an apartment, and in fact it's only legal in Beacon to short term rental at an owner occupied home.
