Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for 3 nights and overall had a great experience. The property was spacious and accommodated our large family comfortably. The layout worked well for our group, and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy our trip.The only downside was that some of the towels seemed a bit dingy and didn't feel as clean as expected. Aside from that, the property was nice and met our needs. We would consider staying here again.

Amazing family getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this property! The pool was very clean and a perfect size for 4 families. We loved how each unit had its own full bathroom.The photos were very accurate in the IRL setting. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our time at the house. Positives: Lots of beds, pool was clean, large kitchen, huge table, lots of outdoor seating options, close proximity to the river and Garner state park. Negatives: only 2 small couches for a house that accommodates 24 people which meant there was no where to relax. Beds were very uncomfortable. The listing description did not mention that only the king bed is inside the main house, all of the other bedrooms are separate from the main home. The property itself is very small, no room for kids to run around or scenic views to enjoy. We come to the area to have room to spread out and unfortunately this home the only yard was the concrete pool area, it was closed in from every side so there were no views to enjoy. The only side that wasn't closed in was the one facing the road, and the pool area is about 1 car length away from the road (not much privacy from all of the cars driving by).. The pool is small and feels crowded when it has more than 8-10 people, our group was 24 so we could not enjoy it altogether as we have been able to do at other homes we have rented.. that was probably the most disappointing part..Overall it is a nice home but the owners should really consider investing in better/new mattresses.

Very nice home. Equipped with all of the basic needs. Rooms have their private entrance and own bathrooms. Owners suite connected to kitchen/living area. Wifi has weak signal in outside rooms but you're there to enjoy the outdoors either way. Also owner's suite needs repair of bathroom door lock but otherwise good place to stay! Loved the coffee station as well.

Perfect setup for multiple families

This was our 2nd stay at Dos Oakes. Last year was our first time and it was just our family. We had so much fun last year that we brought another family with us this year and had a blast! The house setup with the private pool was perfect! After having fun at the river during the day, we would come back to the house and the kids swam while the adults cooked dinner. After dark, we enjoyed sitting by the pool and watching for shooting stars or satellites. The kids enjoyed making smores around the fire pit. Nicole, from property management was quickly responsive to any question or need that arose. I forgot to bring towels and she quickly provided rental towels so that I did not have to go buy them. We had a wonderful family vacation at Dos Oakes!
