We had a great stay at this property. It’s brand new and very tastefully designed. The pictures do not do it justice at all. And the beds are so comfortable. Book without hesitation and enjoy!!!

Thank you for you're kind words. We look forward to hosting you again.
We stayed here after a week-long sailing trip and it was the ideal house for the transition back to life on land. It's light and bright with gorgeous views of the sea. The family had fun playing with the giant Jenga set and other games provided. The kitchen layout and seating fit us well and we were both able to easily come together and then scatter for bedrooms with air conditioning. It's really close to a couple of beaches that we explored. We felt both a part of the island life and like on a retreat of our own. I would love the opportunity to return one day!

It was a pleasure hosting Dan and his Family at our Villa
Misleading Listing and Unsafe Access Left Us Stranded
We were a party of five, including a guest with cervical-spine issues, booked for a two-night mountain retreat. Instead, we faced a dangerous, unmarked route, misleading listing claims, and no host support ending with denied access and no refund.• Severe access concerns: Listing labeled it a “centrally located gem” with “easy access” and vague advice to use a “high clearance vehicle.” But the approach road is a narrow, rocky and bumpy, unpaved ramp exceeding a 45 incline with cliff‐side drop‐offs—conditions even a seasoned local taxi driver found unsafe.• Misleading directions: Host offered only a pin drop for directions. She refused to meet us and dismissed our concerns by stating “others had no problem finding it” and that we should “keep looking.”• Denied check-in and refund: After 30 minutes on the road to find the place and aware that other taxi drivers would struggle to find the place and / or drive up and down safely, especially in the dark with not lighting, we requested cancellation. The host told us to go ahead and said she was changing the door code—effectively locking us out of a rental we had paid for. She later refused any refund.• Physical and emotional harm: Rough terrain worsened neck pain and caused anxiety, exhaustion, & distress. We never entered the home. While the property may be lovely, none of that matters if it’s unreachable and unsafe, especially for guests with any mobility issues. We strongly recommend seeking safer, transparent alternatives.

While we regret that this guest chose not to stay, several aspects of the review are inaccurate.
Our listing has always disclosed that the property is accessed via an unpaved road and that a suitable vehicle (SUV with AWD/4WD) is recommended. These details were also communicated directly to the guest prior to arrival. Many guests have accessed without difficulty, as reflected in our reviews, and no one has described the road as unsafe.
On the day of arrival, the guest’s taxi driver had trouble locating the property despite receiving a Google Maps pin that leads directly there. I remained available by phone to assist, although members of the group became verbally hostile during the call. No health concerns were raised at any point. Upon reaching the correct location, the guest declined to stay—not due to safety or medical issues, but because of dissatisfaction with transportation costs. The property was never entered, and departure was voluntary.
For future guests: while the Google Maps pin is accurate, we recognise that some drivers may still require additional guidance, and we are committed to providing clear directions and support to ensure a smooth arrival. We remain dedicated to professionalism, transparency, and helping our guests enjoy a positive experience.
