The pictures are exactly what you'll be walking into. It's beautiful and homey and all the blankets make it so cozy while watching a movie on the huge tv screen. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of site seeing and shopping. We enjoyed our stay at this home, and would stay here again. You can not go wrong with this property!

We’re so happy to hear the home lived up to your expectations! It’s wonderful that you enjoyed the cozy blankets, relaxing movie nights on the big TV, and unwinding in the hot tub after your Black Hills adventures. We’re grateful you chose to stay with us and would love to welcome you back for another relaxing getaway, Martha!
This property was really nice, we had everything we needed and everything worked as it should. The dining table was really nice for sitting down together and playing cards. It was too cold for us to be outside so we didn’t use the hot tub or outdoor area, but it was nice also.

The property is very conveniently located in Custer- everything is walkable which is fantastic! The hot tub was wonderful and the beds had nice bedding and comfortable. We did not notice that there is no air conditioning but the place managed to stay fairly cool even with temps in the high 80s.

We’re so glad you enjoyed the walkable Custer location, relaxing hot tub, and comfortable bedding. Since your stay, we’ve installed air conditioning for added comfort during those warmer Black Hills days. We’d be happy to host you again anytime, Dana!
We enjoyed staying in Unit 5. It was a nice size which gave us room to spread out. The smart TV had all our apps which was nice. The bedrooms were large with a king in one and two queens in the other. We loved having the washer and dryer available to do our laundry midway thru our trip. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed to have a little of everything. The hot tub was large, but needed to be cleaned. (Looked like someone had been in it with lotion on, which they expressly asked renters not to do.) Our only disappointment was that the grass was very tall and needed to be mowed. If we had planned to use the fire pit or play yard games, that would’ve been a bummer. Also, ask how to turn on the string lights. We didn’t figure that out. But overall it’s a great place to stay because it’s in Custer and in the heart of all the attractions.

We’re so glad the unit gave you plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a comfortable stay in Custer. It’s great to hear the garage, smart TV, spacious bedrooms, laundry, and well-stocked kitchen all added convenience to your trip.
We appreciate you bringing the hot tub and string light concerns to our attention. Those issues have since been addressed. Our lawn is professionally maintained on a recurring schedule. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the location, and we’d love to host you again on your next Black Hills adventure!
