Enjoyable stay

This was our first time visit to Madeira. The property was located in a great location especially for a first time visitor to Funchal. It's walking distance to old town, shopping, cable car, bars, restaurants... the house was clean, comfortable, cool, adequately supplied with cleaning products, complimentary items (thank you).... the host (owner) is very nice and helpful. We were able to get into the house earlier and leave later. The owner was very accommodating. The house is located on a bit of a steep hill with some traffic during early morning hours but very manageable. You can walk very far and then simply take a taxi back if you wish. We enjoyed the small outdoor sitting area too. Great location for a first time visitor and future one too.

L'appartamento in cui alloggiavamo era veramente carino e accogliente. In una strada silenziosa e poco trafficata ad un passo dal mare e dalla vita movimentata Lo consiglio vivamente, Roberto ci ha accolto con molta cordialità.

Funchal getaway

Lovely house, great location. The owner was very responsive to any questions. One of my favorite meals was from a restaurant about 10 feet from the front door. Lots of other options just a little bit further by the water. Everything looked just like the photos. The hills are serious, but you gotta do something to work off the amazing Madeira garlic bread!
