We loved this place!! So much bigger than we thought and was very nice inside. Had 16 people and plenty of space. Kids loved the game room and theater seats. Very quiet location you felt like you were up north! Would highly recommend this home!!!

2019 Wisconsin Dells Vacation

The Spring Brook cabin rental that we had during this vacation was a good experience in all aspects, including reservation making, check-in, payments, check-out, etc. Our whole family (13 in total) enjoyed the cabin stay immensely.

Awesome Property!

We had a group of 13 adults (ages 25-55) for a bachelorette trip, and the house was awesome! Very spacious, with two porches to sit on and a great fire pit! It was clean and cozy! Will be booking again!

Chocolate Moose Lodge

The house could use some updates/TLC and a deep clean. It may be a nice idea to offer a late check option or move checkout to more of a standard 11-12 pm. Overall, the layout of the house was ideal for our group and we enjoyed the space it afforded us. We all had a very enjoyable stay.

Great family vacation

We found the property and facilities perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. The house was wonderful, lots of room, plenty of space and housewares. However, this house sits close to the interstate and the noise does interfere with being able to sit outside and enjoy a conversation. The resort is in a great location, the pool and pool bar are very welcoming. We did call in advance of our 4 pm check-in and after arriving at 1:30 pm couldn't get in until after 4:20. I wouldn't mention this except upon check out the desk told us they had new arrivals checking and encouraged us to leave before the 10 am checkout. Property is great inside, pool is good.

Spacious, reasonably amount of furniture, beds and bedding okay, BUT desperately needs dehumidifier in basement bedrooms, 1 stove top burner did not work, mirror broken, towel rack broken, ping pong table, paddles and air hockey game poor condition, had to buy ping pong balls, inadequate lighting in family room, obviously no reinvestment in property to keep it in top shape.

EXCELLENT

When we arrived at the property we were beyond thrilled with the home. We had 3 families staying 6 adults 7 kids. We let kids stay in basement and it felt like they had their own home while adults enjoyed the upstairs. The two bedrooms on the main level were small if we had planned differently would have taken the basement rooms they were big! The house was perfect I loved the layout of the two living rooms with the kitchen between. The main level shower drain was slow so we ended up showering in other showers. Did I say I loved the layout of the kitchen and the living rooms it was sooo great! We also enjoyed the fire very much! The pool space at the resort was FANTAST, the only down fall was the pizza. (We personally did not like it). Overall the place and experience exceeded expectations! We would for sure visit again!

60th wedding anniversary family gathering

We loved our time gathering together. Our family’s consensus was: the rental was average. The home is older and more worn than the photos show. The bedding and shower curtains looked old. The basement carpet needed cleaning. The blankets were too thin for the cooler basement. The large table and gathering spaces were great. It rained for us so we enjoyed the games in the basement. The log furniture is great and we all liked the WI Lodge feel. There wasn’t enough TP or Kleenex in each room, nor dish towels as we cooked all but one meal there. Under the basement bedroom there was a mess. One safety suggestion is to keep the knives higher for groups with toddlers.

Great location with plenty of space

We enjoyed our stay, especially the location, including the golf course and restaurant on the property. Home was clean and had plenty of space to spread out. Game room was a nice distraction during breaks from all the other fun WI Dells atractions.

Beautiful location and lots of room.

We meet here with our children from all over the country. It was a wonderful place to come together after a very long time apart. The managers were very accommodating. There is lots to do in the area as well.

Great Family House

We stayed at the Chocolate Moose property and found it to be spacious and inviting. Kids were 3 years to 12 years and had a ball with the video games, ping pong and air hockey. The home had a great lay out-beds were comfortable, lots of closet/storage space-well stocked with dishes and cookware. The outdoor pool was great, plenty of deck chairs, fun space for all. Staff at Springbrook were outstanding!

It was a wonderful house! It was missing small things like something to light the wood in the outdoor fire pit and dish soap. But we had a great time inside and outside the house!

Extended Family get together

We stayed for a long weekend over the 4th to celebrate our parents 80th bdays with kids/grandkids, a total of 14 people. Game room was enjoyed by all, and golf and fireworks were a bonus. Shopping outlets nearby kept us busy as well. Overall great weekend.

Wisconsin Dells family vacation

Chocolate Moose Lodge is very nice, good layout, room for everyone. Nice being away for the crowds of people that can be at large hotels/water parks. Kitchen had everything needed to cook, nice outdoor grill. A couple things , floors looked clean, but our feet said different. And no extra sheets for pullouts, plus remember towels for the pools.
