About this property
RedHawk Retreat / Modern Hobby Farm Getaway
RedHawk Retreat is a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath ranch-style home in Spanish Fork, Utah, offering a refreshing escape with open skies, mountain views, and the unique feel of a small hobby farm. Just minutes from I-15, parks, shops, and local events, it's also a great base for exploring Salt Lake City, ski resorts, and the scenic Nebo Loop.
Inside, you’ll find 2,000 sq. ft. of inviting space, including a bright open floor plan, a spacious living room with a massive sectional and TV, and a well-appointed kitchen with full-size appliances and everything you need for easy meals.
The home also features a dedicated workspace, an oversized laundry room, and a fenced backyard with a BBQ, firepit, and plenty of space to relax under the stars. The unique Lotus Tent adds extra room for lounging or sleeping outdoors—just bring sleeping bags or inquire about rentals.
As a working farm, you may see us caring for animals or tending the land. Friendly cows and free-range chickens may be nearby, but please don’t feed or approach them. For safety, guests should stay within the front and fenced back yard areas.
Three outdoor security cameras are on-site (front door, driveway, backyard), with no cameras indoors. Tampering may result in a reconnect fee.
Whether you're here for a family getaway, weekend reset, or scenic staycation, RedHawk Retreat is the perfect place to unwind, explore, and make lasting memories.

About the host
Hosted by Amberlyn

Hi there! My husband and I are both from this area and have lived here nearly our whole lives. We come from big families, so hospitality comes naturally—and trust me, I like to be comfortable! I always try to anticipate what guests might need or enjoy, just as if I were staying there myself.
When I’m not at my day job, you’ll usually find me with my bead loom (or hunting for the next perfect pattern to create). I’m a little obsessed!

Why they chose this property
We named the property RedHawk Ranch for the red-tailed hawks that soar above the area—you might spot them gliding overhead if you take a moment to look. In our hearts, we’re farmers. Both of us come from agricultural backgrounds and have always dreamed of creating a space to grow a small hobby farm. The open land and country lifestyle felt like home. Though we don’t live in the house full-time, we’ve fallen in love with it—and can easily imagine settling here permanently one day.
What makes this property unique
Our property is truly unique. While it’s conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and popular destinations, it still offers a refreshing rural vibe. The home is set back from a busy road, giving you plenty of privacy and safety, and the backyard opens up to beautiful, wide-open farmland—the kind of space that just lets you breathe.
