The house smelled like pot and we had to air it out and spray it with Lysol. We had to keep taking the lid off the tank in master bathroom because it wouldn’t fill after flushing. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. In a nice neighborhood
This location was perfect for what we were looking for. We were busy skiing most of the day so this was a nice spot just for sleeping. Hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. Great experience
Host is horrible. Our heat in the basement apartment was freezing. We had to buy a space heater to keep warm. We contacted the host and he got back to us Sunday morning at 3 am. There were trash bags piled up outside by hot tub. We got in Saturday night and the tennants upstairs were smoking pot so the basement reeked of weed. Tried to reach them about some type of refund and were completely unresponsive.

The instructions state to not text, but rather to call, to receive immediate assistance. We would have happily changed the temperature for you. The previous tenants upstairs have been removed due to failure to remove the trash and maintain the hot tub as per their lease. The new tenants have been there since January and remove the trash like clockwork and keep the hot tub crystal clear.
The host did not respond at all to my messages, the people upstairs were very loud. Sounded like a people moving furniture and stopping feet. There is no thermostat to adjust the temperature and I froze at night. I messaged the host several times with zero reply.

Great place
Host needs to communicate with the guest in a timely manner as the efforts were made to make a booking modification but the host was not aware of my requests and consequently made a another booking and messed my plans up completely.
Did not have time to use the hot tub although it looked very inviting. House was very clean, had keurig with pods, was very accommodating. The only rough patch was told in email the code to enter would be last 4 of my cell number, had to call the owner because it wasn’t working, he told me what code was. He was receptive and answered phone for me. Everything else was very smooth. Great location to red rocks. Would stay again
On May 23, 2026 we arrived at the home we booked. We had another couple with us who also booked, celebrating their honeymoon. when we walked into the bed rooms the beds were unmade and you could tell no one cleaned this house. We contacted the host and explained. The host said that his cleaners car had gotten hit she would not be able to drive over to clean. He asked if there were any extra towels or bedding if so he would refund the cleaning fee and part of our stay. we did not so we asked him what should we do now? He said he was unable to get another cleaner over take care of the situation on a holiday weekend and he could come over and bring what we need. He said he was 30 minutes out. 1 1/2 later he showed up. We had stripped the beds to make it easier for him and the mattress cover on one was horribly stained. when that was pointed out to him he said he didn't see a problem with it. We had taken pictures of all this. He was on the phone with someone and we overheard him say "I'm going to cancel this and refund their money, I'm out of here". He left with no where to go or explanation. When we texted him to see what we were supposed to do now. He texted back "Leave" "Your money will be refunded". He proceeded to harass me the rest of the day through text and said we should have been more understanding. This person did not take accountability for any of it he put blame on us, his cleaner through another text and became very rude.

Communication was terrible but I think that was a VRBO issue and not the host. The phone number provided by the host was not correct and it took us forever to get into the unit. Space was very nice though, especially the patio. Yard needs attention. Bathtub has a constant leak that needs to get fixed. Area was nice and close to stores, red rocks etc

Hard to get into
This place was nice with plenty of amenities and had a fantastic hot tub! That said, there were some cleanliness issues and it was difficult to get into… especially if you have a lot of luggage and other items to haul into this space. I would give a solid 0 stars for accessibility! The host was very responsive to emails and got to my questions and concerns promptly.

In a nice quiet neighborhood with a great hot tub and a nice backyard. Easy access to foothills, Morrison and Red Rocks
A few minor things that could be improved upon:
We arrived after dark, so the stairs leading down the backyard were a little dangerous without any lighting
There was one hand towel in each bathroom and no washcloths for a three night stay
There were instructions to wash used dishes before leaving but no dishcloths to do so
There was trash in the master bathroom wastebasket when we arrived
The master bedroom had a mild damp/sweat/sour smell to it

This was a great option for our weekend stay for a Red Rocks concert. I loved that it was dog friendly, clean, and conveniently close to the venue. I didn’t realize it was a basement apartment, as the description states “entire home,” but it still met our needs. Check in was a little confusing, there were no instructions for which door to use, which happened to be through a gate, down the side of the house, and in the back yard, luckily my husband figured it out. Overall it was a good stay and I would come back if I ever go to Red Rocks again!
