JamesvillLakehouse Retreat

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.

This lake house comes complete with amazing views of the Jamesville Reservoir located in Jamesville, NY. The back deck faces the water allowing you to take it all in; the sunsets are the best!

The property has water access with a dock.

The lake house has 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms along with a futon and sofa-bed.

Please note: There is a doorbell camera monitoring my front door for safety of our home.
The space
This property is a SHARED PROPERTY that has two buildings on it. This rental is for the main house which is located behind the garage, closest to the lake. If you are interested in renting the guest studio as well as the main house, for an additional guest or two, that is an option pending the calendar so please let us know!

Please be respectful of the neighbors and potential guests who are staying at the guest studio; the same will be requested of them for you. The only part of this rental that is shared with the guest studio is the driveway. This rental has FOUR allotted parking spaces in the driveway in front of and to the right of the garage.

This property DOES have water access and a dock. If you are interested in bringing your boat, there is a boat launch at the other end of the reservoir. Swim at your OWN RISK!

There is a fenced in yard, small and well trained dogs are permitted. Please notify us if you are bringing a dog. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $100. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet. Please keep pet crated when you leave the property and keep accompanied on property. Dogs are not allowed on our furniture. If fur is found and extra cleaning is required, there will be an additional cost.

This is a quiet street; no parties are permitted. Please be considerate by keeping noise levels to a minimum.

We hope you love our lake house as much as we do!

Please note: There is a Ring doorbell by the front door, to monitor and keep our property safe.

Guest access:

Guests have access to the main house, and FOUR parking spaces in front of and to the right of the garage. There are also three entrances to the main house. The main/front entry to the house is inside the fenced-in area between the garage and main house. There is also a side entry and back entry that are both located on the deck. The front entry door has a keypad entry, the code will be specific to your stay and will be sent to you the day of your check-in.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
You may leave the bedding on the beds for the cleaner to take care of.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No parties or large gatherings. This is a quiet neighborhood and it's in an HOA.
Check-Out Procedures: Run one load of towels- leave in dryer or fold and put back in closet. Trash and recycling-emptied and brought up to the bins

This was a very cozy place, and the host was very welcoming. We would definitely stay there again.Many things stood out, but just being so peaceful and cozy place over the holiday season felt like it was meant to be . Cant say enough great things about the host.

It was nice. The Syracuse area in December is never going to be amazing. It was clean, but not spotless. The rooms were big and sunny and had very comfortable furniture. There was a sauna that didn’t really work, which was disappointing. Still, I would stay there again. The host was very responsive and agreeable.I am certain this place is amazing in good weather.

I’ve lived in Jamesville my whole life and my childhood was spent on this very lake. I have fond memories of the Hot Air Balloon Fest, where balloons would float down across the water in front of our dock. Or of the soft music being played at The Grove. My favorite memories are of kayaking and water skiing on the lake, and in the winter ice fishing, snowmobiling, and ice skating. My sister and I would shovel off an ice skating rink and “perform”. I have no doubt that you will fall in love with the charm of this area. Please reach out with any questions about local restaurants, parks, or anything else you may need. I look forward to hosting!”
