Come witness the breathtaking views in Lake Lure and unwind in this luxurious cabin minutes from Rumbling Bald amenities of beach, 5 pools, hot tub, putt-putt, 24-hour gym, spa, sauna, restaurants including Starbucks, golf, and tennis/pickleball courts. Beautifully decorated with two bedrooms and a large loft with a mix of king, queen, and twin beds, perfect for a family or group of friends! A circular paved driveway greets you when you arrive at the home on a quiet and private street with plenty of flat parking for 6+ cars. Overlooking the fairways of the 2nd and 3rd holes of Apple Valley Golf Course, this retreat comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests. All 3 full bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers, there is not a tub. Enjoy the cozy living room, with a sofa bed for additional sleeping space, that leads to a deck with new grill and comfortable seating. Step down to beautiful rock patio with a fire-pit area perfect for roasting marshmallows for s’more’s. There is a game closet inside including corn hole and a karaoke machine.

Located on the north shore of picturesque Lake Lure, you will have full guest access to Rumbling Bald, a 3,000+ acre property that is home to a private white sand beach, children’s water park, distinct dining experiences and numerous hiking and biking trails. This home INCLUDES up to ten lodging guest passes to Rumbling Bald, under age 12 do not need one, AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! Be careful with this when booking at other properties as typical fee is $6/person/day. You will have access to two 18-hole championship golf courses, beach, spa, restaurants, putt-putt course, Starbucks, gym, indoor pool with hot tub and sauna, basketball and tennis/pickleball courts, and during the summer: four outdoor pools, paddle-boarding and kayaking - something for everyone! The amenities that close during winter are the cabana to rent watercraft and the four outdoor pools (Apple Valley pool usually remains open until end of October). The two golf courses are available to book as guests of this home: Bald Mountain and Apple Valley. Green fees will apply, around $60 per person.

Experience the tranquility of lake mountain living - bring your dogs- to hike trails leading to breathtaking overlooks, then relax in the covered hot tub or in Adirondack chairs surrounding a Solo stove fire pit on the large deck! Paved driveway greets you when you arrive at the home with a flat driveway to easily fit up to six vehicles. One stair to front door, then you enter into a soaring 2-story living room with stone fireplace and open kitchen with brand new appliances. The two bedrooms are on main floor and each have private bathrooms.

Large Ingles grocery store with Starbucks and a pharmacy is 8 miles away. This house requires a 5 night minimum during peak season Memorial Day through Labor Day. Hurricane Helene: Thankfully, this home and surrounding resort area were mostly spared by the hurricane and we are so grateful and very eager for visitors to return to enjoy the unique beauty of the Hickory Nut Gorge. Great news that the main lake will be open again for recreational boating, swimming, and fishing in spring of 2026. The Army Corp of Engineers extensive efforts have removed over 1.2 million sq yards of vast debris and sediment deposited during flooding that occurred on Sept 27, 2024. As a result, the lake is going to be cleaner than it has ever been! The beach at Rumbling Bald is open now on one side with playground, pavilion, grassy field, and sandy beach for tanning. The other side will be open again with cabana in May, 2026. Chimney Rock State Park is open and many businesses. The people of this area depend on and are desperate for tourism to return to this beautiful mountain town so please book and help support our recovery. There are other small lakes in the resort available now for fishing. Reach out to property manager for info and updates.
