This was a great place to stay while in Hocking Hills! This was my second time staying here and will definitely book it again in a heartbeat. The hot tub is very clean, on a covered porch and has an outdoor tv right near it. The inside is also very clean and spacious with two bedrooms and has access to WiFi if needed. Our host was nice and quickly answered any questions that we had during our stay.

We had a great stay in the cozy Golden Oak Cottage. It was great being on the top of the hill for scenery and the time of year was great for seeing the autumn leaves in their glory. The hot tub and outdoor television was a nice amenity we enjoyed every night. The cottage was prepared well and was very clean. We were delighted to see the journal of everyone who stayed saying how fantastic their stay was, it made us feel very fortunate staying there and very at ease that everything would be top-tier from the beginning. Our host Tara was easy to communicate with about any questions we had throughout our trip. We highly recommend staying here!

Anniversary weekend

Spent a long weekend celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The cabin was very clean and property well maintained. Hot tub was hot and not overly chemically. Thanks for the great stay.

Good place to get away

The cabin was what I was looking for, somewhat isolated and quiet. Biggest issue is the wifi signal doesn’t reach the porch. Needs a booster/extender.

The Che k in and out was flawless and the place was very clean. One of the best things about this cabin was its seclusion. The owner was very accommodating on everything, even when I had to ask for a possible late check out because on our last day there we had lost our car keys on a hike And weren’t sure at that point how exactly we were going to get a replacement key being all the dealership were closed till Monday. Turns out we found a 24 hr mobile locksmith and we were able to Che k out on time . But his ability to work with us was very much appreciated. It’s will worth the cost
