The houseboat was a really unique and fun place to stay during our recent trip to LaCrosse! It is newly renovated and everything was very clean and modern.

Overall it was a great stay. The boat is well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. It was an enjoyable stay for the weekend. The location overall was quiet and enjoyable. The bar at the top of the hill owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. A couple unexpected to us things, but makes sense do to it being a houseboat, the walls are thin so even quiet talking could be heard easily in the bedrooms. The downstairs bedrooms were quite small with low ceilings due to the location in the boat. The third bedroom is more a cubby than a bedroom and adults may be claustrophobic.

So much fun staying on a houseboat, totally different experience than a "regular" VRBO. Host was great to work with, answered my many questions from booking until we got there. Marina owner couldnt have been more welcoming, and helpful. The man to call if we had any issues came immediately when I couldnt get the propane fire pit to work ( partially operator error!), and was great to work with. My ONLY advice would to be to pay attention to the description of the lower bunks that have a 30 inch ceiling. 30 inches is not much clearance, and luckily we had some shorties on board for the stay, so it wasnt much of an issue. It is clearly stated in the description, but just an extra thought about that if you have taller people that will be using the lower level for sleeping. We enjoyed our time on the boat, recommend this host for an out of the ordinary experience!
