Cozy living room, laundry room, powder room, large covered porch with seating, and a fire pit. Bluetooth speakers throughout.
The cottage sits on 2 acres of grass, in a very quiet neighborhood. There is parking for 2-3 cars on site. The home is 350 ft. from a 2 lane highway, with a land berm in between.
Guests have access to the whole property.

My husband and I grew up in Snohomish. When we're not working on making Prairie Cottage better, we're usually enjoying the outdoors hiking, hunting, riding horses in the woods, or rushing around keeping up with our kids' busy schedules. We built this airbnb from the ground up because we're passionate about making beautiful spaces for people to catch up, connect, and enjoy one another's company. It is our goal to think of every little detail to provide everything you need for a perfect stay, so you can just be in the moment, relax and recharge.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is so close to town (6 minute drive), but feels like you're out in the country. The 1.5 lane road is frequented by families, walkers, joggers and bikers, and many people tell us they drive this secret route on their way home from work to decompress. The 2 acre lawn for kids to run and play is rare for an airbnb, so we were happy to fill that niche. While the nearby HWY 2 noise can be heard outside, it's overall much quieter and more peaceful than staying in town.
