This house was delightful. We loved this quiet part of town. Parking was easy, we used the Park Savannah App and were able to park right in front of the house the entire way time. There was a dog crate for our use, so I didn’t have to bring ours with us. We are very happy with our stay.

We enjoyed it so much! The home has everything you need and easily walk to river street and nearby restaurants. The owners are top notch to rent from! Very helpful and communicate well with us before and during our stay.

Absolutely wonderful stay! This home is in walking distance to the Riverfront and many restaurants. The amenities exceeded my expectations. The host is gracious and communicated in a timely manner. Great space for getaway for a quiet retreat.

The house was so cute and what a great location. The beds were really comfortable. Close to the river and a lovely square one block away. We used Kelly Tours for a trolley and river boat tour and a bonus was that one of their pickup spots is the Pirate House that is right across the street, so it was really convenient.

Great stay for us at The Captain's Cottage. This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It was great for our two small dogs. The owner provided dog crates and a couch cover to help protect it from our dogs who do enjoy laying on a couch. There were also doggie treats and a suggested emergency vet if needed. Great location for walking to just about anywhere in the historic downtown areas while also being far enough away from any nighttime party noises. While the unit does have A/C they also provided a couple of fans that did make it cooler and comfortable in the hot/steamy July weather. Highly recommend!

This property is a 10 out of 10. The house exudes southern charm throughout.The property is clean, bathrooms are awesome, essentials are plentiful, and the surrounding Neighborhood is just so pretty. A quick 15 minute walk down Bay Street and you’re in the thick of things!! I totally recommend this VRBO!!!

Loved the home. My one recommendation would be to put a small blackout curtain in master over the diamond shape window so you can sleep in a bit. Cute house.

We had a wonderful week in Savannah at the Captain’s Cottage. It’s in a very central, ideal location for exploring the city. The house is immaculate, includes thoughtful and useful amenities, and is beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and there is a cozy feeling to the home. The hosts were easy to communicate with and went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.

We had a great stay! The house was extremely well located. It was very clean and had all you could want for ease of use. Beds were comfortable. We never had any difficulty parking, and the purchase of the parking pass or use of the app was not difficult. We were not there during street sweeping, so that was a non-issue. We would love to return to Savannah and would love to stay here again.
