This custom home is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Florida’s Forgotten Coast. There are miles of unspoiled, soft, sandy beaches to enjoy with friends and family. The beaches of Cape San Blas were voted one of the top ten in the US, known for great fishing, shell hunting, swimming or just relaxing. With its' extra-fine white sand & stunning aquamarine water it is truly a paradise for those looking for a fantastic quiet get away.
This spacious upscale Gulf-front home is beautifully decorated with Italian tile throughout. The main living area and kitchen are located on the top floor for optimal gulf views throughout the day. As for the sunset, it’s as if it sinks right in your living room with a different show every night. Although we love animals, we want to keep the house as nice as possible, therefore, there are absolutely no pets allowed!
The kitchen is well equipped featuring quartz counter tops, custom cabinets & stainless steel appliances. From the gourmet chef to the crock pot enthusiast, you will find everything you are looking for to make the perfect meal including seating for ten and a grill on the back deck.
The spacious master bedroom opens to a private covered deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee as the beach comes alive and the dolphins play. The master bath has dual sinks with quartz counter tops, a soaking tub, and the perfect shower after a long day at the beach.
Bedroom number two is located on the quiet first floor as well. This room is also very spacious, with a queen sized iron bed, a private deck, flat screen TV, and an upscale dual sink private bath.
The third bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds, a private deck, a flat screen TV, and another beautiful bathroom.
This is a true beach house with a sandy bumpy road leading up to it. The road is a single lane to a dead end with no turn around available for a boat or trailer.
The area offers horseback riding, deep sea fishing, bike rentals, golfing, tennis, and of course shopping. Take advantage of the paved trail stretching the length of the Cape for walking or bike riding. Or Saint Joesph State park, located at the end of the Cape with access to the bay and amazing scalloping.

Dreams come true

This house was all we could have hoped for and more. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the beautiful ocean views from every room. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. This was our first time here but will definitely not be the last. Even the seaweed that picked our week to wash ashore did not hinder us from a great vacation.

Spectacular Stay

This home is spacious and beautiful. My family enjoyed all this property had to offer. I highly recommend this property and would love to stay again. The local beach gear vendor was also a great investment. They drop off & pick up everything you could need for a great beach day!

Glad you enjoyed our home we try hard to please. I spoke to my rental agency after you were not sure how to get in, and they said they had reached out to you via email and phone with no response. Had they gotten a hold of you, they would have provided you with a list of things to bring, including cooking supplies, and beach chairs, or they would have offered chair and umbrella rental if needed. They also would have provided you with the code to get into the house. I am just so glad I was available to let you into the home when you called, in six years that has never happened before. You will find every agency operates differently, mine is very clean conscience, and they leave no food items in the cabinets including spices. I just wish you would have asked about the chairs when I called later to check on you and I could have told you about the rentals, they are very reasonable and they deliver and set them up for you. If there is anything you need next time, please give myself or Pristine Properties a call. Come back soon!

Absolutely amazing!

Our stay was one of the most memorable family trips we have ever taken. Our experience has everything to do with the wonderful home with beautiful decor, outstanding experiences with the host communication and accommodations, and incredible location. This house will ruin you for other beach houses. We will be back!

Great location and house. Wish there had been a few beach chairs to use. Also was a little difficult climbing back up to the boardwalk. House was great though - after we killed 2 roaches upon arrival! lol

Great vacation house for the family!

Our family of six stayed at “A Rendezvous” and absolutely loved the house and the location. Beautiful views of the beach and sunsets from two decks facing the gulf. Great location behind The Trading Post for groceries, donuts and snow cones! This section of the beach is less crowded and there was always plenty of space for the families in the area to spread out. We would love to come back to the same house for our next trip to the Cape. (You could easily fit 10 if the kids bring friends)

Our location behind all those sweets is dangerous for those of us watching our weight, but the kids make a daily ice cream walk up the dirt road. I know it is tempting to bring more people, but the house max is 8 for insurance reasons. Thanks again, and come back soon.

Excellent! Perfect Vacation Place!

We had a fabulous vacation! We love Cape San Blas, the beaches are never crowded & it is so pretty! This house was absolutely perfect & we will definitely come back here again! It is extremely clean, very spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds are super comfy too! You can tell the owners really care about their guests. We sat on the back porch every evening to watch the beautiful sunset. The views of the Gulf are spectacular! Being right on the beach is amazing! As they say, location, location, location! Also, having the Trading Post store right down the road is an added bonus. They have everything from groceries, liquor to homemade donuts, yum :) This place is a slice of paradise and would highly recommend it !!

Terrific Time at Turtle

The accommodations were lovely! The view from the 2nd level balcony was breathtaking! The kitchen was very nice. Yes, the listing description was accurate, photos reflected accurately, the property was clean and well maintained, & the owner was gracious to answer all of my questions. There are 2 vacant lots on either side of the property which is also nice. I would have loved a teapot included in the kitchen. And also a TV channel guide. This is our 2nd trip to this area; we would recommend these restaurants: Joe Mama's Pizza, Provisions, Paul Gant's BBQ, Coneheads, & Hungry Howie's. ( Paul Gant's BBQ is a walk up food truck and - only open Thurs. - Sat. near the Dollar General store) The only problem we had was with the rental agency - they tried to increase the rental price AFTER we signed the contract and paid the deposit. (really?!) After a few phone calls, the rental agency backed down and honored the original agreement. BE CAREFUL TO READ YOUR RENTAL AGREEMENT when the "remaining balance" email comes to your inbox!!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We really have tried to think of everything, but I must admit we are hard core coffee drinkers, so a tea pot never crossed our minds. We will have to add that to the list! Although, with all the restaurant reviews you made, it doesn't look like you spent much time in the kitchen...good for you! I was a little surprised with the your comment on the management company, they have always been above board with us on everything. I looked into it, and it seems there was an over-site on their behalf. Although you and I agreed upon a price, the girl who booked it made a mistake and actually gave you a lower rate than what we had agreed upon. When she realized her mistake she corrected it, therefore changing the final payment. There was no foul play, just an honest mistake. It would have been better if she had called before making a change, but how astute of you to have caught the difference. From what I understand, you actually ended up with the lower rate and my management company, Pristine Properties, made up the difference to me due to their over-site. So they did fix things after all. Thanks for staying with us. Come back next year and we will have a brand new tea pot waiting for you. Kim

A beautiful beach home in a remote, relaxing location

We had a wonderful experience at A Rendezvous! Even with Tropical Storm Fred coming to visit too. The house was so homey and had a great porch to observe the storm. When the wind became to much, we came inside and relaxed on the comfortable furniture in the living room. It’s such a beautiful home and the beach is right there to enjoy from the awesome porches or just a few steps to the water. There are restaurants close to the house but all were closed due to the season being over. The town closed down early our first night there but we had found some great pizza at Pete’s. We really didn’t get to experience the town around due to everything being closed when we journeyed in to town. All in all, this was an awesome house and the location was so relaxing being right on the ocean and the owner was so accommodating. She even called to check on us as the storm made landfall. It was a great mom’s out weekend home!

Perfect for a friends and family vacation

We had the best vacation and will definitely consider renting here again. The house was immaculate and fit all of our families needs. It was wonderful being so close to the beach and having local shops and restaurants available at the end of our street. The property manager is incredibly responsive and helped with any questions we had. This is the 3rd house we've rented on the beach and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Great vacation place!

This house was fabulous. Accommodations were above expectations. And ease of communication with the owner was excellent. Will definitely stay here again. Only caution, beach is under construction. Could be a bit of a headache at time.

Thanks Rachel, I am glad you and the girls enjoyed the house! We were there the week before you when they were dumping the sand to make the dune. It was every little boys dream job, driving up the beach in a gigantic dump truck with loads of sand. We didn't even know they were going to do this beach restoration, but after the hurricane season we had last year, we will take all the sand we can get. They said they are even planting sea oats, so I am excited to see the end result. Hopefully Gulf county will have it done soon. Look forward to your return, and I am confident the new dunes will be done by the time you come back in October.

Stirring up hurricane Barry

This was our fourth year at Rendezvous. It is a great property and a beautiful home right on the beach. If you vacation at the Cape you know that you have to just show up and see what the weather gives you. This year we got lucky, tropical depression Barry was forming in the gulf right in front of us but we only lost one day of beach time due to the rains. We always enjoy seeing Steve at Peachy's Beach Eats and we tried Krazyfish Grille this year, both winners! Due to storms we lost power on Friday night for about 6 hours but that is just island life! Pristine Properties was very responsive and came by to check on us the next morning. Highly recommend this home and location. Thanks for another great year of memories! Love the Cape!

Love this place!

This is our second stay at A Rendezvous at Turtle Dunes, and we loved it this time just as much as the first time; iIt is so quiet and relaxing and pretty much perfect. The house is amazing, clean, comfortable, well appointed, and well stocked. The beautiful beach and ocean are just steps away. The little local grocery store, ice cream and coffee shop, a little local restaurant that has fabulous fish tacos, and another little place with homemade donuts are within short walking distance from the back door. And there is also yoga and a place to rent kayaks also with in a short distance from the back door. We absolutely love this place, and Kim and Pristine Properties are so pleasant and easy to work with. Thank you for sharing your home with us; we cannot wait to return again next year.

Schoggen Family Vacation in September 2017

Wonderful vacation home !! The views were so pretty. The boardwalk was very nice and the grandchildren really enjoyed the area under the house for evening playtime. The outdoor shower was so nice and really helped out in washing all the sandy kids. The decorations and style of the house was airy and light. The outdoor deck furniture was really comfortable and had lots of seating for large crowds. The kitchen was large and roomy, that was a good thing since we had three cooking. We ate all of our meals in and having St. Joes Fish Market in walking distance was a huge plus for us. Trading Post, Ice cream shop, Dounuts, and ice right up the road was so convenient and met all our needs. The Scallop Cove store was a great rental for our 2 man Kayak and the local beer on tap was a huge plus, and we filled out growlers up. Having the cute souvenirs and beach shop was nice for shopping. Loved the house and hope to revisit next year !!!

A wonderful vacation!

We stayed at A Rendezvous at Turtle Dunes over Labor Day weekend and loved it. We can't wait to go back. Cape San Blas is a truly unique and wonderful place. We hope it stays as peaceful as it is now. This house is perfectly located- the beach is just steps away and is a bit wider here than in other nearby spots. You can clearly see the beach from the porches which was helpful for when we were at the house and the kids ran back and forth. There's an ice cream shop, a general store, and a restaurant at the end of the block as well. The house itself is great, nicely decorated and has a beautiful master bedroom. The kitchen has everything you'll need. This house does not allow pets which would be the only reason we would ever choose another house if we went back, its really great. The property manager is also very helpful and easy to work with. Thanks for a great vacation.

Why they chose this property

We are the new proud owners of this great beach house. We looked all over FL, and just fell in love with the Cape and this house. We plan on passing our home down for generations, so that the families to come can laugh and love as much as we have.

What makes this property unique

This house is perfect for us because it's big enough for two families to share, or for our girls to bring friends, yet not too big if it's just my husband and I.
