The place was in a perfect location, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. It was also a quick walk to the beach with access to the clubhouse which was very nice. The house itself was perfect; it was very clean, spacious, accurate to description, and had more than enough amenities. Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend to anyone!

Great location - Lots to do

Our place was in walking distance of several restaurants and shops. The community had great beach access, an indoor and outdoor pool, a clubhouse and pickleball. It had everything we needed and we felt right at home.

This is an amazing apartment!! We decided to travel last minute and everything from the booking process to communication with the owner was easy. While we did not use all the Barrier Island amenities because it’s off season (and we own another home nearby), I can tell you they are convenient and great for families. We adore the sound side view and the sunsets were incredible. If you are looking for an alternative to renting a whole house, this is your best option! A note if you have any mobility issues, the stairs to get to the second floor are steep and there are two flights. Otherwise it’s super spacious (can easily accommodate a family or 2-3 adult couples) clean, private and comfortable! We will definitely book again when we need extra space for a family vacation!

Excellent Experience

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we were unsure of what to expect. The pictures and description of the property were accurate, and the property was excellent! We loved the beach charm decor and how spacious it was for a family of 5. The room with the bunk beds was kid friendly and had books and games for our toddler to enjoy. The pools, game room, and sauna were a plus. We also enjoyed the fact that the property was located on top of a cafe' (with no noise issues) and across the street from one of the top restaurants on the island. We had access to get smoothies and walk back up to our room each morning. Also, the property has an ocean view so we were able to see the sunset each night and walk the pier. The hosts kept us well informed and responded in a timely manner to questions we had during our stay.

This spot is a gem! First time visiting the outer banks, so didn’t know what to expect. Condo is kind of randomly on the top floor of a business in a parking lot, but super nice and spacious inside. The beach is a 7 minute walk, probably faster if you don’t have two slow poke kids, and the clubhouse is a 3 minute walk (you can also drive and park at both of these). Super convenient to allOf Duck. Just FYI, as I didn’t really look at the essentials, there no dishwasher or stove. But there is a hot plate and toaster oven. Our family had a wonderful stay here.
