House was just as described. It was very clean and had great amenities. Location was perfect, close to beaches and short ride to downtown Charleston. Check in was very smooth and the host was super nice. Would definitely recommend this property.

I stayed at this house for a long weekend in April 2026. Overall, the place was nice. Pros: There is a cute, small, fenced-in backyard that is not pictured on the listing, which was a bonus. The location of the home is great and walkable. There are tons of cute coffee shops close by.Cons: The home is also smaller than it appears in the photos. Some of the pictures on the listing are outdated as the couches are not the vibrant shade of green as pictured and there is only one. The bathroom of the en suite bedroom is not super practical as the tub has been turned into a shower and there is no shelving - water gets everywhere.

The location of the house is so convenient. Shem Creek offers many great restaurants and shops. The house is minutes from Patriots Point, close to downtown Charleston, and close to Isle of Palms. The home was clean and had everything that we needed. The only things that I did not love were the claw tub shower in the master ensuite bathroom which can be tricky to navigate and there are only bamboo style shades that don't block any sunlight early in the morning. The other two bedrooms have actual curtains. The owner lives next door which is convenient if you have any concerns.
