The apartment is equipped with amenities such as kitchen, bathroom, and a fantastic living room with a pull out couch that can comfortably sleep two with a special mattress to add on!

Location is great! Quiet neighborhood in desirable location. Great restaurants directly downstairs with a mix of locals and tourists.
Apt was minimal but livable. Since we were staying for a week, host was flexible about providing more toilet paper and towels.
Fantastic property, fantastic location! If you were looking for a perfectly located home base for your Roman holiday, this is it! The check in process was easy, everything was clearly communicated. The building is just like the pictures show, very clean and secure. The rooftop terrace was awesome and enjoyable, and Luca was easy to reach and very helpful.
Would definitely stay here again.
We loved this well-located, charming apartment. Comfortable stay for our family of four. The roofdeck was magical - just incredibly special. Highly recommend!
Great penthouse apartment in the middle of everything in Rome!
The apartment was small, but perfect for our family of 5 while exploring Rome. It's a healthy 4 story walk-up, with an amazing rooftop outdoor patio with views of Rome from all directions. The location was absolutely perfect - walkable to everywhere you'd want to go in Rome, but in a quiet little cul-de-sac away from the nearby noise and traffic.

Exceptional terrace views!
Loved our stay in Rome, arrived early; Luca could not have been more accommodating, carried our bags up the stairs ,arranged rides, just awesome! The apartment does have 60+ stairs. Centrally located in lovely Campo Di Fiori. A Must stay for the roof top terrace! The only draw back would be the lack kitchen supplies, but that being said we would stay again. Thank you Luca! Bellisummo!
68 steps of old building (not very easy to climb each one) the apartment is in general ok but not more then that. Price is very unreasonable to what you get. Location is very good.

One day somebody said "you can call a piece of glass a real diamond if you can't recognize it". Your review is unreasonable! It is written everywhere about stairs and it is well detailed the apartment is in a 600 years old building. I doubt you could have found a better spot as same price range anywhere in town. And what about a private rooftop? But again, hospitality means to welcome everybody and I am happy to do it. I am just sorry to get a review like that that add no feedback or a "spark" to support me doing better. Ciao
We loved our time in this apartment! What a perfect location, perfect rooftop patio and wonderful host! We were a family of four, we all loved it! Yes, many steps but the rooftop patio views make it worth all of them! Everything was in walking distance. So much fun being right at Campo Fiori. Yes it’s a small space but it’s an old classic apartment. AC was great, water was hot, washer was great to have. Lucca was the best and treated us like good friends! We would definitely stay here again!! We will miss our breakfast and wine on the rooftop!!
A great week in Rome and Amalfi! The apartment is perfectly located in the middle of everything especially the daily market in Campo De Fiori. We were able to walk to just about every major sites in Rome. Trastevere is just a 5 minutes walk away, gateway to more restaurants and bars than I could count. The apartment is cozy and comfortable. The unlimited hot water and strong pressure is especially nice after a day of exploring. Relaxing on the roof top patio in the cool Roman nights was amazing. We took a two day side trip to Naples/Sorrento/Positano via train from Roma Termini station, an easy bus ride from the apartment. Luca was very responsive and helpful, providing any info that we needed and even booked our transportation to the airport for our early flight home to the US. All in all it was a great trip! We just have one piece of info to pass along. Book all of your major sites access well ahead of arrival as the number of tourists were significant!
Pro: Luca was helpful, clear, gave great directions and booked us a car to the airport. He was wonderful. Good shower pressure. AMAZING roofdeck just off kitchen. Flat is located on adorable square is the absolutely perfect location close to the sights but in a vibrant neighborhood full of locals.
Con- bedsheets not soft. Many steps to enter (I enjoyed them bc they are ancient, full of character, well worn). Don’t stay here if you are one of those people who overpack for vacation because it will be hell to get your bags up. We are not those people and are fit so didn’t find it a problem. Cramped bathroom but we didn’t mind.
If you don’t plan to spend much time at the apartment to enjoy the rooftop perhaps it will be not worth the $. I loved it!! 😍
The apartment is much as Luca describes it. We had a *wonderful* time during our stay.
Something to note is that the Largo di Librari is not officially accessible to cars. If using a taxi you will want to be dropped off or picked up at either the Piazza del Monte di Pietà (50 m walk) or on the west side of the Piazza Benedetto Cairoli (150 m walk). The walk is over cobblestones.
Access is up 4 flights of stairs. Not a problem except with luggage -- plan on making multiple trips to get your bags up and down. The stone stairs are however well worn (400+ years of use!), so use some care.
The apartment is not large, but very comfortable for two. The kitchen is small but functional - the refrigerator is an undercounter model but capable of holding a few days groceries. Dishes are washed by hand.
The bedroom window opens on to the Largo, which can be a bit noisy until about 11pm or so. With the window closed the noise is fine. The air conditioners worked fine.
The upstairs terrace is wonderful. The stairs up require a bit of care, especially if you are carrying things (no handrail). A great view and the area has many churches & basilicas that ring their bells at slightly different times. If the weather cooperates, its great for dining, or just sitting with some wine and a book. The washing machine is also upstairs (in a shed). along with a drying rack & clothespins.
The location is perfect for visiting central Rome. We walked everywhere.
Overall we recommend it very highly.

Uncomfortable stairs and very narrow, all the way to the 4th floor, old furniture
We booked this property for two reasons - the private rooftop terrace, and the property manager Luca. Our flight was delayed, and instead of arriving around 8pm we arrived at midnight. But Luca was there to let us in. Any questions we had or if problems arose, he responded and took care of things immediately. I'm an F1 fan, and he added an app to the smart tv so that I could watch races. That's really above and beyond. He's also a fount of knowledge about the building, the Largo, and the surrounding area. We so enjoyed learning more about our favorite place. The accommodations are best for two people. As noted by others, there are stairs. Around 70 to the apartment, another dozen or so to the terrace. The apartment is very quiet, and airy. The kitchen is very tiny, and best used for making coffee and heating up leftovers, but there is no shortage of restaurants nearby.
Our stay and experience in early October 2022 was entirely consistent with many other reviews for this property: (1) Luca was enthusiastically helpful; (2) apartment is well located; (3) rooftop patio was enjoyable at dawn, dusk & night (but too warm in the direct sun of mid-day); and (4) kitchen is very small, but worked well for coffee & breakfast.
Be aware that auto traffic is mostly prohibited within a couple of blocks of the apartment; any drivers may need to pickup/drop-off at one of the nearby piazzas (e.g., ...del Monte di Pieta, or ...della Trinita dei Pellegrini, or ...Biscione).
Fantastic located little apartment with terrace. Perfect for two people staying.
A great place if you're looking for something in the centre of everything. Plenty of places to eat and drink and shop. Walking distance to all the sights. Comfortable bed, everything was clean and tidy. There are lots of steps leading up to the apartment so this is not for anyone with mobility problems. There are also steep steps leading up to the terrace from the kitchen, so this is something to be aware of. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would very much like to return in the future.
I stayed here back in 2015 and was won over by the rooftop terrace and having it all to ourselves. It’s still a beautiful apartment and those views on the roof make it unique and special.
Just a note to be aware of - there are 80 steps to the apartment. Luca says this in the listing but a reminder doesn’t go astray.
Luca was so helpful - he even arranged a transfer to Roma Termini for us at very short notice.
Kitchen is great - it has everything you need and there is a washer in a small laundry on the terrace.
You’re right in Rome’s heart - a few steps away from Campo di Fiori and Trastevere. Wonderful place. We loved it.
We absolutely loved this gem of an apartment. From the location, to the private roof top terrace, everything about it was perfect. Luca was a fantastic host, extremely communicative, knowledgeable and helpful. You will not be disappointed.
This was our second time in Rome. Last time we stayed in a hotel that had small and cramped rooms so we wanted a bit more space. This place was perfect for me, my husband and my 22 year old son. For one night my 20 year old daughter was also there on a small roll-away bed. You could fit 2 couples, but it would be cramped.
The place consisted of a nice size bedroom and living/dining room. The kitchen was small, but adequately equipped. We ate all our meals out so this wasn't an issue. The bathroom was small by US standards, but the shower was a nice size with multiple nozzles and good water pressue and we never ran out of hot water. The patio was the best feature of the place. It was a nice size and gave you more/extra room to relax and hang out.
The place was located about 2 minutes away from Camp de' Fiori which was a large piazza with lots of restaurants and a daily farmers market. There was a little piazza right outside our door with a few restaurants, a church and a few shops. It was lively and full of life, but quieted down by the time we went to bed. The street that lead from where we were into Campo d'Fiori was lined with nice shops. We were also a short walk to the river and an easy walk to all the main attractions.
Our host Luca, was very helpful. He spoke perfect English and when we left helped arrange our ride from the place to the airport. He was very responsive and helpful.
Overall this was a great place and location and I would highly recommend it. When we go back to Rome we will stay here again. The only negative is that you are technically 5 flights up even though it is on the 4th floor. It wasn't bad, but after walking all day your legs were tired.
I wish I was still there!

Great location
A nice small apartment in a very central area of Rome. It is within walking distance to nearly all the "must see's". The apartment is very clean and everything works very well which is not often the case in Rome. That includes the air conditioning, hot water and WiFi. The apartment is actually smaller than it appears in the photos and is ideal for 2 but cramped for any party larger than that. The terrace is a real plus. As noted elsewhere, like other ancient buildings in Rome there is no elevator and the 4 flights of stairs are a bit daunting. This is definitely not a rental for anyone who is in any way mobility challenged. There is an Italian styled supermarket nearby and the prices there are very reasonable for those who want to eat in. The kitchen is fully equipped but other than using it to brew coffee in the am we didn't take advantage of it since part of the charm of Rome is eating out. Luca is very charming and very accommodating and makes check in and check out very easy.

Everything to Like....
The location was fantastic, close to restaurants, markets and attractions, all in walking distance. Luca,
the owner was outstanding, professional, accommodating and helpful at every opportunity. He is very responsive and accommodating with any aspect of the
stay. The roof-top patio is impressive and relaxing, great for a meal or just listening to the church bells and city life. Plenty of room on the patio. My wife and I have been to Rome many times and this apartment had all the features we were looking for in a great apartment rental. Location, location, location is the greatest asset of this apartment. We are returning in June 2019, and have already booked this exact apartment.
Thanks Luca for an amazing vacation and assistance to us with any questions.
See you in June.

Great location and lots of room
We were a family of five with three kids aged 9-14, we stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. The location was great, and the roof top terrace was a great place to wind down in the evening with a glass of wine. The apt was very spacious and allowed our family to spread out. The only negative was the number of stairs to climb to get to the unit. It looks like they are installing an elevator but it wasn’t working yet. We would definitely stay there again.

Hi
thank you so much for the review! I am happy you had a great time: unfortunately there is no elevator and we're not installing one! The building is almost 600 years old and there is no way to improve with a solution. What is sure, we help all guests for the bags.... and the view from private terrace is worth it!
Thank you again

Absolute Perfection
Everything worked well and was easy to use. We couldn’t have asked for a better location four our family of five. The rooftop patio was outrageously beautiful... very fun to eat breakfast and take in the view. Luca was great to work with and went over and above. We will rent this apartment again if it’s available the next time we’re in Roma.
