Conveniently located in the center of Northern Michigan on large Otsego Lake, Golf Mecca and Snowmobile Haven. This is a place where memories are made! Large home and guest house on 4.5 acres. The main house has 7 bedrooms, including girls' and boys' rooms with 4 couples' rooms, and sliding glass doors to the water. Kitchen, living room, dining room, and loft with couches and table, 2 decks, and porch. The guest house is a 3-bedroom with a complete kitchen, living room, laundry, full bath, and deck. Includes WIFI. There is an additional fee to include the guest's home. Please inquire about rates.

Otsego Lake is a large 2,000-acre lake. With a state park, marina, and gas available. Gaylord, the golf mecca, has 15 championship courses designed by golf's greatest. Winter brings an average of over 152 Snowbelt-centered inches of the white stuff each year. We are sweetly situated for epic snowmobiling, Nordic and downhill skiing, and snowshoeing. Gaylord has many great festivals for all seasons, as well as boutique shopping, spas, and a central pavilion full of entertainment and a farmers market, and live music events. Gaylord's geographically gifted position smack dab in the center of Michigan's northern lower peninsula offers the state's best base camp for any outdoor pursuit. With easy access to trail networks, river systems, lakes, parks, ski resorts, and big wilderness spaces.

Our stay was great. The host is easy to work with and the property was just as advertised. Plenty of room/beds for 8 adults which was great. The view of the water is beautiful and the property feels private. Would highly recommend.

Perfect family vacation spot. The host was always very prompt answering questions and all info we needed was provided before we arrived. The house was perfect for our large family. Parents, kids, spouses, grandkids and great-grandkids. The house had plenty of space for adult talk, plus kid play area. For the first time there was plenty of dishes and silverware for all of us to eat at once while on vacation. Ample yard for playing wild games, and not bothering other people because of all the noise The kids spent a lot of time in the lake and the use of paddle boards and kayaks was so much fun. We always pick a different place for vacation but this house deserves a second visit. We had a great time making great memories

Great Lakefront Home with cabin. This property worked well for our group of 18 golfers. The only negative was only 3 bathrooms for 18 but we were able to manage.

Snowmobile Trip

We felt blessed and grateful to stay at this property. It was absolutely perfect for our annual snowmobiling trip. Trail #7 is right across the lake with easy access from the State Park. The home is clean and very accomodating for large groups. Thank you for the opportunity!!

Gray Family Vacation

We stayed here for the third year in a row and already have the property booked for a week next summer. Everything about the property is perfect for our family. From the huge windows overlooking the gorgeous Otsego lake, catching frogs and tadpoles in the pond, the large number of comfortable beds and bedrooms to house our large family, sunset campfires on the beach... nothing but incredible memories were made. We can't wait to come back next year.

This is a special place

The property is gorgeous and the views of the lake from the house are picturesque, to say the least. The house perfectly accommodated our family and had all the amenities we needed, and then some. It was the perfect place for our family to celebrate a quiet and relaxing Thanksgiving in northern Michigan. Our host was very accommodating and excellent with communication. This is a special place and we were so fortunate to be able to spend time there. We hope to come back again in the future.

Beautiful "Up North" experience

Beautiful property. We booked a LARGE family at Christmas-time. Bunk rooms and extra cabin suited our needs perfectly. Home and property were beautiful. Owner was prompt in taking care of any issues (large snowfall just before we came, with tree down over driveway!) It was taken care of before the rest of our group arrived.

Beautiful cabin

We pick a different place every year for kids and grandkids to go for Christmas.. we have always like seeing new places and getting to different states but EVERYONE wants to come back to stay at this cabin again! Beautiful had everything we needed even the jumper for our 7 month old granddaughter! We loved all the rooms and enjoyed the snow. Amazing Lake Getaway!

This place is phenomenal and dreamlike. Even better in person than the photos! There was a lot of outdoor space for activities and games. The fire pit can fit everyone and the place is very accommodating for large groups. I was on a golf trip with 11 of my other best friends and we didn’t have a single complaint. In fact, it blew our expectations. Would absolutely love to stay here again! The best courses are within 20 minutes. Rain or shine, we had a great time.

winter house

We were 13 members of a family and the set up for the house was terrific--with 2 wings of bedrooms off of the living room and kitchen area. Plenty of hanging out space. Only 2 complaints: The extra cord of wood I paid for, arrived dumped in a heap by snow (no covered area) and was mostly green--took forever to catch on (not owner's problem-buit maybe she should look into new provider. Both refrigerators were filled with leftovers (including frozen hot dogs and old ice cream)--we had a hard time fitting in the fresh food we had brought for the week. We were told we had to bring all food supplies.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback as this is the first time we have had any that was not entirely positive we want to be sure to address it adequately. I have spoken with our wood man and he has agreed to stack the wood on the porch for an additional charge. I will make sure the wood is delivered as close to check in as possible. Regarding the food in the refrigerator this was a one time occurrence that absolutely should not have happened and the cleaning staff has been reminded to be sure it will not happen again. Snowmobile trip

Online listing is deceiving. This is actually 2 separate properties a 6 bedroom house and a 3 bedroom guest house. You have to go read the fine print to figure that out and once you request to book they will tell you if the guest house is available. Pots, pans and bedding need to be updated. Check out process is a bit too much, I am ok with putting used towels in a laundry room but here they need to be washed. Driveway is about a 1/4 mile long with a lot of snow on it you will be expected to pull the non wheeled garbage cans to the end of the driveway. If you are coming with a trailer there is no way to get to the house you need to unhook the trailer and leave it somewhere.

Hello, thank you for the input. We have addressed the items you have mentioned. We have a new garbage system as well as updated bedding. The guest house is available for those staying in the main house. Some choose to use it others do not, It offers a lower cost option to those who do not need the extra space. Generally, snowmobilers have found this to be a strategic location that offers excellent access to the many surrounding trails. We are always looking for ways to improve and appreciate the feedback.

Canadian Thanksgiving 2022

Renting this property was a breeze. Dealing with Karyn was great. She was very prompt in her replies and hence our decision to stay at this beautiful serene clean spacious resort was very easy. The house and guest house is well equipped, you name it and you find it in the house, be it linens, utensils, appliances, everything. The house is so spacious, the view is breathtaking, the sunrises and the sunsets were gorgeous, the washrooms were well provided for and what more can I say, it was well worth the 6plus hours we drove up to live at this beautiful getaway that we happily called home while we were there. Just simply amazing. Highly recommend renting this place for groups of all sizes. Summer would be the best time to stay here.

This property easily accommodates large numbers of people, 27+. The location is central to anything and everything although you will likely never want to leave the premises. There is plenty of room and several acres to give you a lot of privacy. The state park and marina are very close which also offers many amenities as well. Perfect for family reunions, golfers paradise or special retreats.
