About the host

We are a happy couple with one teenage son who love to travel, cook, hike, make art, and eat.
Why they chose this property
Pleasantville genuinely lives up to its name. This is a gourmet's town, known for its restaurants and award-winning Farmer's Market. IT's also home to a large independent movie theater, a non-profit Tennis Club, The Westchester table tennis center, a brewery (allows dogs), Soul Brewing Company, a fast train to NYC, and tons of hiking nearby.
What makes this property unique
This place has very good vibes--likely due to its history as a "Tea House" (Speakeasy), there were probably many parties here. The mature plantings, that bloom new flowers each week, add to a magical fairytale-like yard. The river rock, covered porch and upper deck are wonderful, we are an easy walk to town, groceries, 24h 7-Eleven, coffee shops, the brewery, restaurants, shops, movie theater and train. The fireplace makes the living room very cozy in Winter.
