The house is updated and has everything you need. The game room and outside living space was perfect for our teens. There are plenty of beach chairs, games and toys. Loved the screened in porch and kitchen had everything we needed. The communication was great and the host was fabulous Perfect vacay !

This property was a great place to stay. The pictures and descriptions were accurate, had nice views, and just a short walk to the beach. The host was amazing and was easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are thinking about a trip to Oak Island!

This was one of our most memorable and well rounded vacation. The house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly expect at the beach from the kitchen to the game room, there was something for everyone in our group to do. The host was very helpful and responded to my questions in a timely manner. Thank you for everything we had a wonderful time and look forward to rebooking.

We were pleased with the beach house. The finishings seemed newer & it was clean. Jessica & Kizer kept us informed. We had no issues checking in or out: The price seemed high but I’ve since discovered it’s not compared to other beach properties around Oak Island. It’s actually a bargain. You’re paying for a non-commercialized small town beach vibe that’s become a rarity today. Wonderful vacation !

like the name said Serene Retreat

great location with lots of peace and quiet. short walk to beach. house was furnished with anything needed for the stay. very clean and up to date. looking forward to weeks stay there next year.

Awesome house! Love how close it is to the beach and all of the outdoor space. The host was great and left everything you needed (toiletries, sunglasses, snacks, hair ties, toilet paper, laundry pods, etc). We brought a 1 year old and the house was full of toys and loved that the table was baby proof. She especially loved the tiny Adirondack chair.All of the beds were very clean and comfortable. The AC worked great and the house was cool the whole week. We had a great trip and would definitely come back!

Everything was exactly the way it was pictured. We were very impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked. The walk to the public access to the beach was perfect. My mom really enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch. Overall we would definitely stay at this property again.
