Surrounded by tropical plants, colorful flowers, hummingbirds, and small land turtles that roam freely, the property sits behind a tall privacy wall — creating a serene retreat for families, friends, and group get-togethers.

Four Unique Villas
Each villa offers two bedrooms with private ensuite baths, A/C, TV, Wi-Fi, vibrant Mexican décor, handcrafted furnishings, private patios, and a washer/dryer. Guests enjoy the privacy of their own villa while still being together on one beautiful estate.

Courtyard Pool, BBQ & Fountain
At the center of the property is a sparkling heated pool with jetted tub, a charming Spanish fountain, and a thatch roof BBQ area. In the evenings, soft lighting transforms the courtyard into a warm, memorable gathering space.

Our Oasis Spa is the perfect relaxation for your island retreat. (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Heated Stones & Reflexology)

The Pavilion
Our handcrafted Pavilion is designed for shared meals, meetings, and fiestas. Overlooking the colorful “Oasis Garden,” it features high speed Wi-Fi, AV equipment, restroom, and a traditional kitchen used exclusively by our cook service. It’s a spacious, comfortable place for your group to gather and unwind. (Please inquire about live Mariachis, cook service menu, cooking class and private group Island excursions.)

SCUBA Area
Built by Bob, our resident diver — enjoy an outdoor shower, rinse tank, gear rack, and plenty of seating for post dive relaxation.

Just down the street you’ll find the local market, restaurants, beaches, and wonderful spots to explore on foot.

Our hostess, Sarah was unavailable during our stay. But Alex, the property manager was phenomenal. He explained about the property, showed us everything, and welcomed us with a real smile! Alex was only a call away to answer any questions and was able to make reservations for us at local restaurants whenever we needed. The property was more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. My family of 16 couldn't have picked a better place!! Loved the turtles, the beauty , the safety, the location on the island...all this and more.

Our one week family reunion at Casa Colonial couldn’t have been more perfect! The property is so beautiful and well maintained! The casitas are very comfortable for 4 or 5 people, the air conditioning cools quickly after a day of fun in the large, gorgeous pool, always perfectly clean. We are a family of 20, and the house worked wonderfully for us. The grocery store is a block away, so we could walk there whenever we needed anything. We chose to have breakfast and dinner at home in the beautiful new pavilion where there was room for all 20 of us to eat together. We took turns bringing foods (tacos al pastor, cochinita pibil, ceviche, pizza, chicken, etc.) from restaurants every evening and had delicious papaya and other fruits, pan dulce, and since I love to cook, I made a Mexican breakfast dish to go along with that every day. We had so much together time which was incredible yet each family had a casita to retreat to each night. The communication with Sarah before arrival was perfect. She always answered my questions immediately and was patient with all requests! She made sure we had everything we needed for 20 people to be super comfortable. Once we arrived, Kelly, the property manager, took care of everything we wanted and needed. She was so sweet and helpful! She came every morning at 9:00 and brought the wonderful girls that clean every day. She kept everything running smoothly! I can’t say enough positive things about this incredible property!
