For pre-bookings or questions you might have before finalizing your stay, you are welcome to message us on Vrbo and we will happily get back to your inquiries in a timely fashion.
Upon booking, you will receive an apt message confirming your reservation and thanking you for choosing our beautiful home for your stay -- we know you have a lot of choices! In this message you will find a set of house rules, what the home will be stocked with to better help you plan your arrival, and our cancellation policy if all else fails.
One week before your booking, we will send out another message reminding you about your stay. Finally, 24 hours before your reservation we will send directions on how to access the home, a way for you to contact us directly, and directions to the home.
My husband and I live locally and will always be available to help you with any questions or concerns. Never hesitate to contact us. Additionally, we are happy to be your reserve for all things breweries, dining, beaches, or local 'happenings' for you to enjoy!

The home was comfortable and in a beautiful location close to great hiking trails, which we really enjoyed. However, there were a few things that made the stay less smooth than expected. On the second day, the host asked to show the property to a potential long-term tenant, which felt a bit intrusive so early in our visit. We also had some privacy concerns with frequent barking from nearby dogs and a few early-morning texts from the host’s son around 7 a.m. The upstairs TVs were quite outdated and not functional, and getting through the guard gate each time we returned to the property was often a slow and inconvenient process. Please note that there is no access to the garage. While the host was generally responsive, a few updates and clearer boundaries would make this property a much more relaxing experience overall.

Regarding the request to briefly show the property to a prospective long-term renter, we respect your decision to decline. While this was intended as a limited and optional request, we understand that privacy is important and appreciate you sharing your perspective.
Regarding the early-morning messages, your reservation was extended on a short-term basis as an exception to our standard long-term policy, and the monthly rate was adjusted to allow for added flexibility. The brief messages sent earlier in the week were solely to confirm whether you intended to extend your stay further, as this required advance coordination.
Regarding the televisions, the home is equipped with six functional smart TVs for streaming. We regret that the upstairs TVs did not meet your expectations during your stay.
Regarding garage access, this is clearly noted in our VRBO listing. While garage access is not currently available, we are actively planning improvements for future guests.
As for the remaining items mentioned, the neighborhood is generally very quiet, though occasional dog noise can occur, and the community is gated. These are standard features of the area and outside our direct control.
