We really enjoyed the location and our son had a wonderful time, but unfortunately there were several issues during our stay that made the experience more difficult than expected. The TV in the bedroom was not working, the stove was not usable, there was also a strong gas smell which was concerning. The outdoor shower was unfortunately too overgrown to access. We paid a significant amount for our stay, so we were disappointed that so many of these amenities were not available or functioning as expected. We did communicate the issues during our stay and ultimately had to work with Vrbo afterward, who stepped in and provided partial compensation for the problems we experienced.That said, the cottage itself has a lot of potential and our son had a great time. With better maintenance and attention to the issues above, it could be a really nice getaway.

Great location. Walk to the beautiful beach. However, the couch was broken, tub did not drain. Off season price is still quite high for dated amenities, but that's the price in the Hamptons you pay.

This was an amazing property and it was exactly what I was looking for. A friend and I came here for a writing retreat, but it could easily fit 4-5 people. Everything was clean, we were about 100 steps to the beach, and we especially enjoyed the backyard as a place to lounge and work. The area was quiet and the neighbors were super friendly. Hosts were great to communicate with too. I hope to be back one day!
