This 3 bed 2 bath home is just minutes from Venice Beach, Caspersen Beach and Nokomis Beach. About 25 minutes south of Siesta Key. Master suite features a king bed, and the other two bedrooms have queen beds. All bedrooms have TV’s, roku and streaming for TV. Washer and dryer on site. Lovely Venice Rental

Lovely house, clean, and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and comfy beds. Location is close to downtown, historic Venice, Venice Beach, Nokomis Beach, and North Jetty kayak rentals. We enjoyed our stay!

Very nice inside

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was neat and clean with all the supplies you might need. We were close to downtown Venice in a quiet neighborhood. The owner, Jodi, was very responsive when we had questions on the television.

Convenient location

The house is very convenient to the beach, jetty, golf and downtown Venice. Well stocked kitchen and was very clean. We enjoyed sitting on covered porch and enjoying the great weather. Another couple spent a week with us and there was plenty of room for everyone. It is close to everything!! The Wi-Fi was fast and very good so we were able to catch all of the March Madness games. The best review I can give is that we have booked for next year!!

Convenient neighborhood

The house is located close to downtown Venice, beaches and golf. It is an older house but is very clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered patio most evenings. The kitchen is well stocked. Jodi was very easy to reach. The internet is fast and we were able to watch all of March Madness. Lots of space for six people.

Beautiful 3 bedroom house in superb location and quiet neighborhood. Minutes to downtown Venice, beaches and walking/biking trails. Amenities were great. Owner was very responsive to any questions or needs. Would definitely rent there again! Thanks Jodi

Great Location

The house is in a very convenient, central location in Venice - close to downtown, the beaches, shopping, etc. The most outstanding feature of the house is the lanai. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanai, eating and playing table games there also.

Close to many beaches. We took a 10 minute drive to Nokomis beach every day and parking was easy to find. The place was clean and comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway

Sparkling clean, lovely private back yard, well appointed kitchen and grill. Close to downtown Venice and beaches and convenient shopping as well as Pinebrook and Curry Creek parks. Owner responded very quickly to any questions. Very nice

Very nice, and larger than expected

This was a very nice experience. The house was much larger than we expected, and the layout was great; very contemporary. The decorating is very tasteful, with good quality finishes and the house was very well-equipped, just about anything we needed was there. The neighborhood is quiet, we met some very nice neighbors, and the location was good, as long as you know which route to take to Venice Ave so you can turn west. All in all a very pleasant experience, and I'd recommend it.

Excellent service

Very happy with our stay! We had a unexpected problem initially. We arrived and there was a large piece of drywall that fell down due to a leak from the roof. We reached out to Sean the property manager. Within 24 hours, there was a roofer to inspect the roof and start working on the problem, someone came and cleaned up the mess (while gone, not to inconvenience us), and someone covered up the hole. Sean stayed in contact with us to make sure we didn’t need anything else. It was an unfortunate event but no ones fault. It was addressed very professionally and just because of the service we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Not as expected

The place was clean, but lacked in comfort and accommodations. When we booked this last July we thought the house had internet service and cable TV . It does not, Since we needed this to transact business. We placed a call to Vacation Rentals to get some support and got no follow-up from them or the owner. The lady that supports the house for the owner was very nice and easy to work with. The house lacked a good set of dishes, frying pan and enough silverware. There was no place to hang cloths in the Master Bedroom. No garbage bags for trash. There are stray animals that come to the house everyday and prowl the neighborhood. Venice is lovely. Make sure you know what your are getting in writing!

Updated house, good location, but no Internet

The inside of the house has been updated with fresh paint and decor. Kitchen is in good shape. The coffee pot is a 1960's percolator. After we figured out how much coffee it takes it was ok. The washer and dryer seem new. The back porch was nice. The house has NO INTERNET and there is no cable or DISH. The local TV is pretty bad. No Internet = no Netflix, no Amazon Prime The Master suite is a revamped office and the bath was maybe a utility room. Both have doors leading to the backyard. The closet in the master bathroom is locked so there isn't any place to hang clothing. The shower is small. The furniture in the Master is nice and the bed is comfortable. The garage is locked, so unusable.

Nice location. Not far from the beach!

We liked this place! Caregiver was really nice and friendly and offered the use of her pool and beach stuff! She was wonderful! Loved the soft king bed...it was really all great! The only thing was there was some things lacking the house really needed. We needed an iron and ironing board, an extra pair of sheets for the futon, I think our bathroom only had 3 washcloths for 5 of us going through there (had to go buy some to get by), and it would have been nice to find some salt and pepper in the kitchen! We were doing scrambled eggs in the morning and no salt! What now? So we just snibbled our turkey bacon into the eggs and that helped somewhat. It also would've been nice to find at least 1 roll of paper towels, a box of Kleenex, and a little more toilet paper. Some hooks in the master bathroom is very much needed for hanging clothes and towels on. There is not a closet in the master bedroom so they need some hooks at least. Overall I would rent this house again and recommend it. I think since it hasn't been a rental that long, they just don't know what people need in there. But don't let this deter you in renting it! I'm sure you'll find some this stuff in there by now!

Scenic mountain views and access to the Androscoggin river within walking distance. This is a quiet neighborhood with rural Maine charm.

What makes this property unique

We are just 9 miles from Sunday river and you can be there in under 15 minutes. We are just three or so miles to Bethel center where you can enjoy dining, shopping, bowling, the movies or just small town Friendliness and Charm. Some of you may want to just cuddle up with a good book in the great room, There are plenty of summertime activities such as kayaking,swimming,hiking,mountain biking, fishing and tubing. Bring your own tubes and float down the androscoggin river. Don’t forget your life preserver. There are a couple of adventure companies within 4 miles that can help with all of your needs. Have fun!!!
