Just one block from Playa La Ropa which many call the "best beach on the Pacific Coast of México".

This is a private detached casita with a large, covered patio, one bedroom, a full kitchen and air conditioning. The property is quiet, secure and just a short walk to the beach or a quick bus or cab ride into town.

The kitchen is equipped with fridge and (gas) stove with oven, basic dishes, utensils and other cooking equipment. Anything else you may need, feel free to ask -- we probably have it!

The 250 sq. ft. (23m2) brick patio is roofed over for shade. The patio is for the guests' exclusive use during their stay.

The overall property is walled for privacy, tranquility and security.

Bilingual owner lives on site.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to la Ropa! Julian is an excellent host! The location is perfect, just a few min walk to the beach, also only a short bus ride to Zihuatanejo Centro .we are already planning our trip to return next winter

This casita is in a great location near Playa La Ropa (a beautiful beach) and on the bus route into town. Great restaurants are close by with convenience stores and Bank ATM across the street. It is a very secure, safe place to stay inside a walled garden setting. Julian is a very friendly and accommodating host.

Traveling on my own, I am always happy to be in a secure surrounding, which the casita was. Julian was an excellent host, and very responsive to any request, It was nice to be a short walk from Playa La Ropa, and also to be so close to restaurants and a good convenience store. The private outdoor patio, with ceiling fan, was a bonus. I enjoyed my conversations with Julian.

Julian is an excellent host, kind, communicative with a great sense of humor. We enjoyed our conversations with him almost as much as our time on the beach. Like the listing said it's a short walk to the beach. We love Playa la Rosa and look forward to our next visit.

Loved my stay here! It’s private, close to the beach and a couple minutes walk to some great places to eat/get coffee. And it’s an incredible deal for a place in central La Ropa (the fancy tourist part of Zihua), which BTW is very safe - I walked around alone at night daily and felt very comfortable. The space itself is very comfortable - more spacious than your average hotel room, and includes a fully-equipped kitchen, great AC + multiple fans to make sleeping easy, and a comfy bed in a bedroom with large closet. I can see why the hosts get the same people staying there year over year for a month at a time. Julian was the perfect host, going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Thanks Julian!!

Paradise on Playa La Ropa

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Escondite, a brief walk along a flat paved road to our favourite beach in the world. Julian is a gracious, attentive and kind host who ensured our stay was easy and comfortable. He prepared a magnificent fruit bowl for our arrival which we enjoyed for several days and was always available to answer questions and make suggestions. He is environmentally conscious and has a great sense of humour too, which always helps.

Great location close to La Ropa beach

Julian is an amazing host! He offered us a taxi ride from/to the airport at a very reasonable price. He was always there full of answers and advice from our questions. The location is the best!! very close to La Ropa Beach, the pickleball courts, lots of good restaurants and we actually walked into town a few times instead of taking public transport that was stopping right in front of tghe casita. We didn't do any cooking because of our love for eating out. A beautiful fruit basket and a big jug of water greated us.Thank you so much Julian for making out stay enjoyable!

We can’t wait to come back!

Julian and Karim were ideal hosts. They had everything we needed upon arrival-including a ride from the airport for a small fee, a bowl of fruit in the apartment (which we devoured) and cold beverage ready in the fridge. The apartment was very comfortable and was such a short walk to the beach! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home and the private patio was the perfect place to enjoy our meals. There is everything you need with in walking distance of the casita but it was so easy to get downtown in minutes when we wanted to. I couldn’t believe the bus stop was literally out of the front door, so we could hop on a bus to town very easily when needed. The only thing I would have changed about the trip was to stay longer!

Hit the jackpot in La Ropa

Very enjoyable stay at this private little casita with its own patio and just a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach that is full of fun and activity. The host picked us up at the airport for a token charge and introduced us later to the closest town with a walkabout with him and his wife. There was a huge tray of fruit on the counter and a jug of cold juice in the fridge. Excellent WiFi and lots of help with anything that we needed Can’t say enough good about this facility and we have booked to go back at this same time next year.

Wonderful Experience

We enjoyed our stay in the one bedroom Casa. We could not ask for better hosts, Julian and Karim. They are very helpful and happy to assist in any way. We were welcomed with a beautiful flower arrangement, a basket overflowing with local fruit, and an icy cold pitcher of tamarindo drink in the fridge. We were invited to share some wonderful live salsa music and dancing at a nearby restaurant- what a blast ! Thank-you Karim and Carolline for being such a great dance partners. The accommodation was simple yet functional and provided an equipped kitchen, air conditioning, comfortable bed and our own private outdoor patio for eating and relaxing. There is also a 2nd accommodation on site- a funky geodesic dome with outdoor kitchen- so check it out too! Julian provides airport shuttle, for a reasonable fee, which made things stress-free; soon after arrival we were at the beach enjoying a gorgeous sunset and cold cervezas ! The location is very good- go for an EASY stroll to a wonderful swimming beach with snorkelling ( Playa La Ropa) , or right out front you can catch the local collective to take you into town. There are lots of beachside restaurants within walking distance plus many others a short drive away. There is a cold beer store and an OXXO ( convenience store) with good selection and prices- right across the road , so you don't have to lug your beer/wine too far! The town of Zihuatenajo has bustling daily market which provides local produce, fresh seafood, and whatever else you might need. Enjoy walking the town and tourist district near the marina which includes a seawall that extends out to Playa La Ropa. We look forward to returning again someday soon. Shelley & Brad

Escondite Sereno - Serene Hideout

En todas ocasiones, los anfitriones siempre están dispuestos para ayudar, aconsejar y convivir. Siempre hay buena señal de internet por si es necesario. La cocina tiene todo lo necesario y de más. También fue muy conveniente que estuviera situado a unos metros de *dos* tienditas para surtir los pequeños mandados. El lugar es muy seguro, privado, limpio y cómodo. Esperamos no tardarnos mucho en regresar.

Mi estancia en Zihuatanejo fue una de las mejores experiencias; la casita era perfecta!!!, acogedora, limpia, sencilla, cómoda y sólo a unos pasos de una playa preciosa!!!, ni hablar del anfitrión, el Sr. Julian, siempre tenía respuesta a mis preguntas y solucionaba cualquier problema que tuviera incluso fuera de sus responsabilidades, ¿quien encuentra un anfitrión así? y además conocedor por excelencia de la zona. Fantastic location, host and property

I have stayed 4 to 6 months every year for the last 6 years. The places are just perfect for me (I have stayed in both casitas) . The best thing about it is the location. They are very close to the beach, convenience stores and restaurants and yet are very quiet and private. The hosts are extremely attentive and go well out of their way to help in all sorts of things. I would not hesitate to recommend this place wholeheartedly.
