About this property

~Breathtaking 11th Floor Beachfront 2B/2B W/FREE Beach Chairs/Umbrella~

If you want to see the most spectacular view of the sandy white beach and emerald waters, look no further. The view from our 11th floor condo is a sight to behold. After spending one week in our home away from home, hopefully you will want to make this your annual vacation destination.

You'll be hard pressed to find a complex with the ambiance of Summerhouse. There are glassed-in elevators, two large beach side pools (one heated), a hot tub, kiddie pool, lounging facilities and a gazebo for sitting in the shade (located between the pools and gulf). In addition, the complex has beautiful, manicured landscaping which has won several awards as well as being gated with 24-hour security. The outside premises also include tennis and racquetball courts, shuffleboard, and a picnic/grilling area.

Now let's talk about the interior of the building. It contains a huge common room in the lobby attractively decorated and can accommodate family get together or just relaxing with family and friends. The lobby also includes a well supervised game room with pool table and coin operated games.

Now for our condo. It was recently upgraded with new stainless-steel appliances, hardwood floors, fresh paint and carpet, new furniture and wall furnishings, upgraded master and guest bathrooms and wireless high-speed internet. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the guest bedroom has two new double beds and a 60 inch dresser with plenty of storage space. There is a tub/shower combination in the master bath and a walk-in shower in the guest bath. The living room has a beautiful leather couch and love seat as well as a recliner. The living room and master bedroom feature a flat screen TV with built in DVD players. The guest room has a flat screen TV on top of the chest of drawers with premium channels as do all of the sets. The view of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony is BREATHTAKING!!!

Summerhouse does charge a $35 one time total fee for electronic wristbands, and parking passes.

Great place to stay with family!

We had a great time at Summerhouse. The condo was perfect for our family of four. It has everything you will need for your stay. The pools were clean and refreshing. The property was clean and open. The best part was the beach! Only a few feet from one of the best beaches…white sand, blue waters, a great place for the kids to build sand castles. There sunsets were amazing here. Looking forward to coming back again!

Reach for the top/Summerhouse

I called the cleaning agency as soon as we arrived. The kitchen cabinets were dirty with old coffee stains and even hair. Both bathrooms were also dirty. The shower curtain in the master bath is covered in mold!! It is absolutely disgusting! The beds were average; we looked over them before getting in them! We had to wash all the master bath towels that has been stored under the sink because of a musty smell. The only good thing about this condo is the view of the beach!

Condo was amazing!

We absolutely loved everything about this condo. It was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. It was more than enough room for 4 adults. Check In was fast and easy and Linda was a very good communicator. We highly recommend staying here. I do however have a suggestion (not a complaint) The sliding glass doors were extremely hard to open and close. They might need a little grease or oil put on the tracks.

Perfect beach condo!

Just got home from our 6 night stay. The condo was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family of 6. The view out the sliding glass doors in the living room and master were breathtaking! Couldn’t have asked for a better condo! We will definitely be back!! Already missing Summerhouse!

Good for the price

Alright overall. Our rental was smaller and a little outdated, but good price. Could have been cleaner, especially the patio doors to see our ocean view. Hot tub very small. Check in the day of arrival, gal seemed very uninterested since we had door key and information. Next day when I had beach chair questions she acted as if I hadn't done something properly. Beach chairs came with unit, but the guy in the shack was barely there to let us know what chairs to use. Wasn't there at all first day. Construction in apartments during day ruined our relaxing beach experience in front of resort. Skill saw noise and jack hammer outside on end unit. Not the fault of our unit renters, but unhappy with property.

Constant elevator issues!

Elevator went down on a daily basis to include the night of our wedding and the morning of checkout. The condo is on the 11th floor. Owner was great to work with and condo was as described. Views were beautiful.

This place was everything and more, great location, not in the middle of everything but close enough to do everything just steps to the beach, room was super clean and spacious. Definitely recommend!

Great Vacation

Condo was nice. Newly renovated 2nd bedroom and bath were good. Master bath was not updated. Elevator was extremely slow with no air and long waits in Building B. Elevator stopped working night before we left while trying to take everything down from 11th floor. Waited 15 minutes and had to get Security guard to get it going again.

Simple, family friendly

Our first time on this end of the beach, we chose this place for the smaller size and easy parking. Pictures are a little deceiving, the kitchen is tiny, however as a family of 3 it totally served our needs. Master bed was super comfy and the unit was pretty clean; did find a few soda bottles under furniture. It was overall perfect, it is a little dated but it really worked well for our family. Only negative is a few of the fry/omlette pans need to go; we gave up cooking eggs after the first day and security is strict, they refused to let my son in the hot tub even with me. Thanks Linda!

Nice overall but had room for improvement

Loved the location and layout of the condo. Enjoyed pretty much everything. The only issues we had were lights (which I had to replace myself) and cleanliness. It wasn't very clean. I would most likely stay there again.

Everything was clean and the condo was spacious. The kitchen was well-stocked and the balcony view was awesome. We had a problem with the ceiling leaking over the top bunk in the second bedroom. We had to double up for a couple of nights because it had a slow drip. Maintenance came up almost immediately when we called. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Location was excellent. It was great fun to watch fireworks from balcony and convenient to go down the elevator and directly out to beach with your beach gear. Spaces were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was updated and well appointed for our needs. A/C worked well and we were always comfortable. Washer and dryer was a definite bonus. The owner, Linda, was very responsive to any questions or needs we had. Highly recommend and would stay there again!
