We enjoyed our stay at this property. The listing was very accurate. It has charm and quirks that we appreciated. The stairs to the bedrooms are not for everyone. They are steep shallow and tricky. It has been updated nicely which made it comfortable. Emily the host was very accommodating to our needs. She responded to questions in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for the kind review Nancy! Can't wait to host you again soon!
This was a delightful cottage. Quite clean. Well furnished. It's older, so there were some quirks (stairs were steep, may have stubbed a toe or two), but overall cannot complain. We took several day trips. Reasonable driving distance to Innovation Hills park, Red Oaks Waterpark and Great Lakes Crossing Mall (Lego Land and Sea Life Aquarium). Stove/oven... 10/10. The host was SUPER responsive and helpful.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re glad you enjoyed the cottage, its amenities, and the location for your day trips. We truly appreciate your kind words about our communication and hope to welcome you back again in the future!
This was a perfect spot to land while we were in town for a lacrosse tournament! We were able to relax between games either at the lake or in the sauna, cook our own food and sleep well without worrying about travel. Emily was such a good host and communicated whenever we needed extra help. Would stay again if the opportunity arose!

A few friends and I stayed here two nights to reconnect and get away from everyday life. Cranberry Lake Hideaway was just what we needed! The lake views were immaculate, the house was cozy, and the host was available to answer the few questions we had upon arrival. There are a few "quirks" that are small but important considerations: There isn't direct lake access from the property; you need to walk about half a mile down a gravel road to get to the lake. This wasn't a big deal for us, just wasn't made clear in the listing. The oven wouldn't get up to temperature, so some of the meals we had planned needed to be adjusted at the last minute. And the lights in the house often flickered or stopped working altogether. This looks to be a relatively new build/remodel so it was somewhat disappointing to find out the hard way that it already needs repairs. Overall though, these are minor concerns and once they are addressed this will be just about the perfect place to "hideaway."

The stay was great! We really enjoyed it. The host was very friendly and prompt in answering any questions we may have had. The only thing I would suggest is clarifying / adding more pictures of the sleeping arrangements. we were pleasantly surprised that the upstairs had 2 twin beds, as we were expecting a trundle bed. We had a great time here and especially loved the sauna.

Why they chose this property
We are located in a private lake community called the Log Cabin Club. You will see neighbors riding around on ATV's and golf carts during the warmer months.
You can walk the neighborhood very easily. The roads are gravels pathways. Getting to the lake access point takes about 5 minutes. There are two parking spaces in the driveway.
We’re located just 10 to 13 minutes away from Downtown Rochester, Downtown Romeo, and Downtown Lake Orion, putting us in a convenient central spot outside of the hustle and bustle.
