About this property

Cooperstown Dreams Park located 3 mi south and 2 mi south of Cooperstown's HOF.

Welcome to the Gnome Home! I am the third generation to live in this house and wish to share it with you.
We have named our home the "Gnome Home" in honor of my Mother, who collected all kinds of gnomes. We are located just 3 miles north of Cooperstown Dreams Park and 2 miles south of the Village of Cooperstown and the Hall of Fame. This house is perfect for up to six people. With 3 bedrooms including 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, and 2 twin beds, guests will have plenty of space to relax. There are 1 1/2 bathrooms available, the main floor bathroom is off the kitchen, which has a stackable washer and dryer for your use. The upstairs bathroom has a toilet, and full vanity. The living room and all 3 bedrooms have a TV. After a busy day, relax on the back deck around the gas fire pit. There is a large yard and room for the kids to enjoy. Our gas and charcoal grills are located behind the garage near the back deck. Please be respectful and keep them in this area. Please be sure that the propane is turned off when not in use. Fire extinguishers are on the back deck, by the front door, and one upstairs. There is also a fire ladder if needed by the upstairs bathroom window allowing you to get down to the back deck safely.

Property was just as described and perfectly located to visit the Baseball HOF. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were super comfortable. Plenty of outdoor space for kids. Quiet back porch to enjoy morning coffee. Host was very responsive to questions and lovely to work with. On our last day we opted to take the kids to Howe Caverns which is a bit of a drive, but the best caverns I have ever visited. Great stay!

Home was cozy, nicely decorated, and conveniently located near dreams park. However, there were many large black ants predominantly on the main floor, spiders and cobwebs throughout the home, and the tub in the upstairs bathroom was inoperable (did not drain and leaked).

This was a wonderful home away from home to attend our son’s Cooperstown tournament. The pictures are exactly as described and the location was a short 5 minute drive to town.The check-in was easy and host was responsive.

Born and raised in this beautiful small town known for The Baseball Hall of Fame and the serene Otsego Lake, also called the Glimmerglass Lake, located approximately 2 miles from this property. I am also proud to share that I'm an aunt to MLB LH pitcher "Chuck James", formerly of the Atlanta Braves being the first to make the majors with local family ties in 2005! I am also a mother of 3 wonderful adult children and our newest addition my first grandchild!

This is my childhood home and neighborhood. I have wonderful memories growing up in this area.

What makes this property unique

This is a quiet country home where there is plenty of lawn to enjoy and play games or practice baseball! Close proximity to all sites to see! If you'd like, you can walk down the hill and check out the creek! Enjoy the gas fire pit on the back deck whiling watching the beautiful sunsets!!
