The home even though it was not on the ocean we were able to enjoy the sea breeze and see the waves coming in! The property was first class and well attended for a large family. We hope to come back next year! The Gregory/Gunnells and Robbins families.

Beautiful home. Very spacious. Great views of the ocean from the decks. Short walking distance to the beach. Nice furniture, beds and linens. Fully supplied kitchen w quality cookware, glasses, dishes, etc for cooking big meals. Dual dishwashers. Fenced yard a plus. Beach chairs and towels appreciated. Highly recommend.

Our family of 15 came from Texas,Florida and Maryland. The house was beautiful and met most of our needs and expectations. Location was excellent for going to the beach and our many runs to the grocery store. Elevator was a plus, just be aware of how to operate it as we had to call the maintenance man Gene for some help and he was very prompt and solved the issue. Disappointed we couldn't use the grill. Bathrooms had minimal places to hang towels. The two large dining tables made meals very enjoyable, plus we love to do puzzles and play games. Would definitely choose the house again. Communication was email and text which was different from other places we have rented, no in-house instruction book. Appreciated labels on switches. Appreciated we were able to bring our daughter's family dog since I missed the initial place to register her. Certainly recommend this house for family vacation. Thanks to Betsy and to those who clean!

The perfect house for our 21 family members, its beauty & roomy with beach view.

The house was beautiful & roomy. It’s decorated with great beach colors & decor. The large open kitchen, dining & seating area was a great Hangout area for everyone. We all loved the reclining sofas and chairs. The deck was enjoyed for the beach view & perfect view for all the Fourth of July fireworks. We hope to have more family reunions at Blue Coastal Haven.

The booking process & communication with the host was not a seamless process at all! The only means of communication was via text and it was days end before there was a response. We had several questions and attempted to call a few times; we always received weird texts that said she's on a cruise or out of the country and couldn't answer the phone.

Wonderful House

Finished a week at this house for a family reunion with all age groups. I have been renting houses on Topsail for decades and this house was one of my favorite houses we have stayed at. While the cost was relatively high for a non-oceanfront house, it was one of the best houses for large groups. The house is new. The a/c was able to keep up with our larger group on one of the hottest weeks (many of the other houses we have rented have had trouble in this area). The beds were smartly arranged for large groups. Every room except 2 have their own separate bathroom plus an extra near the living room. Having two dishwashers was awesome for our group as we cook every night for 20 people. Plenty of pots, pans (although I'd love to see a few more large pots/pans), silverware, plates, etc. Two dinner tables with lots of seating. Large fridge with smaller drink fridge in LR was also key. Having the bedding/bath towels, soap in BR, lots of beach towels, and many other small touches made the difference. We had one issue with the elevator and it was fixed within an hour! Walk to the beach was easy and this section of the beach was less crowded than some of the other parts I visited that week. Honestly, this house just worked well for a large group.

The house is great for large groups with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and great proximity to the beach. The kitchen and living room are both very spacious with lots of seating. However, there were not enough supplies for the 20 people we had in our group. One towel and one washcloth for each person for 4 nights was not enough. One dish towel in the kitchen, and no dish cloths was annoying. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 trash bags, 5 dishwasher pods, one extra small bar of soap in each bathroom was very off putting for this caliber of house. We had to go out and buy all the necessities you would normally expect in a rental. When flying from out of state it is really hard to buy all these supplies and then know what to do with them when we leave. I rents at least 3 large house per year for our large family and this one was frustrating with the lack of supplies.

We checked in on 8-6-25 and departed on 8-11-25.Beautiful home. Check-in was pretty seamless without issue. Wifi services were good, just top level of home towards front of the house was spotty. Kitchen was fully functioning and had more tools than we knew what to do with during our time.There weren't televisions in 3 of the 8 bedrooms. There were a few cosmetic things like the previous tenants hadn't cleaned the grill, loose toilet seat on 2nd level, toilet paper holder on top level was loose. We were pleased and would stay again. We felt like we were hone away from home at the end of the rental.

We have a large, extended family and needed a place that could accommodate around 15-16 people. We also wanted relatively easy access to the beach, all at a reasonable price. That’s not an easy thing to do. The house is well built and has enough room for our large group. If it lacked anything (or pretty much has everything you need), I’d say that adding a pool, an extra full-sized fridge and some additional towel bars in the bathroom would make this place just about perfect. The check-in process was smooth, the house was clean, and the view was great. The few minor issues we had (some small kitchen ants and a stuck sliding door to the back deck) were quickly addressed. Our stay was fantastic and we’ll definitely consider this spot for our next family beach trip.
