#307's 3rd Floor location offers views galore from the screened deck. This privately owned and managed 1,000 sq ft condo has TWO King beds and two full baths. A large well appointed Kitchen with breakfast bar and spacious Great Room make this a comfortable place to relax and spend your vacation. Amenities include full size washer & dryer, free wireless, split master plan, TV's in each room. We provide basic necessities to get you started in this self-serve vacation rental. (paper products; hand, dish & laundry soap, etc). Daily maid service is not provided. Escape to the Coast, eat fresh oysters, enjoy the small town atmosphere and friendly people, meet your fishing guide at the dock! This condo is located at the Water Street Hotel with access to the community pool and exercise room. Dock space is for rent through the front desk on a first come basis. This property does not allow pets or animals of any kind. We do have other properties available for you to enjoy with your fur children so please allow us to help you choose the property that best fits your needs. Holiday's and Events such as Florida Seafood Festival will require a 3 night minimum.

We enjoyed the location of the property as we could walk to restaurants, bars and shops. That is one thing we look for when renting a place and this was one of the best for that.

Great stay for the second time. The unit provided all we needed. The greatest feature is the wonderful view overlooking Scipio Creek. Its also nice that its in walking distance to restaraunts and shops. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The view off the screened porch was beautiful and peaceful. The location is great - quiet, but still close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, great view located on the water in a Marina. We lived on the screened porch so I would suggest 2 more chairs. It had 2 chairs and 2 lounges (which we never used), so we had to take 2 kitchen chairs to the porch so we could eat at the porch table. There were alot of cobwebs and spiders on the screened porch-would be nice if housekeeping or maintainence could keep that clean. Front bedroom closet was locked so had to hang clothes on provided rack. Lighting in that room was inadequate-had to walk into dark room as table lamps operated by touch- no wall switch. Several kitchen cabinets were locked so there was very little cookware provided. Nice pool, adequate parking. I recommend renting a golf cart to explore town and ride to Izzy's for breakfast.Airboat ride was fun and we got there by golf cart. St George Island is 20 minutes away and worth visiting-Blue Parrot is on the beach and great resturant for lunch. We own a vacation rental property on the beach in Alabama and I always appreciate feedback from our guests.

Nice stay

The property is well located with easy walk to local restaurants and businesses. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the quite private outdoor area in spite of some cool weather.

Walking distance to everything!

Great location, I was greated by dolpins and pelicans each morning while I had coffee on the screened balcony. Pool area with grill was very relaxing. Lots of fun activities within walking distance.

Great views! Great location!

We loved our stay and would highly recommend to others. Condo had all we needed and beds were very comfortable. But what made it were the great views! We loved watching the recreational boats and fishing boats go in and out and saw some manatees as well. Great sunrises. Very convenient to fun places in Apalachicola.

Beautiful condo, immaculate, had everything we needed. Realtor very efficient and helpful. Ate right down the street at Up the Creek, rented kayaks from Maritime Museum, very inexpensive. Love the area.

Great view and fun stay

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The screened porch and the view was great! The elevator broke down on the second day but otherwise a good stay. The cats were a bonus according to my wife. We really liked the Half Shell and The Station for hanging out in the area.

A beautiful condo. I agree the pictures do not do it justice. We loved the quaint town of Apalachicola and enjoyed our stay very much. The drive over to St. George Island was easy and the beaches are beautiful. We loved it.

It was nice but dated and dark with poor lighting. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were not equipped with a safety bar to exit the shower and there was no tub mat on the floor. The owner needs to make several updates concerning the lighting, electrical switch in the kitchen and overall senior safety grab bar.

We have been visiting Apalach for several years. We stayed in this condo last year and this year, we will continue to stay here if we return. The setting and view is breathtaking. It is well equipped and well furnished and is always very clean. It has always been stocked with the essentials we need. The manager is always available and helpful. It's an easy walk to town.

Non-Event Weekend with Book Author

A group of early (BETA) book readers for well known recognized Author, Cap Daniels, met together for friendship. Time spent with Author understanding better book character and his writing methodology. This suite and on water setting was nice meeting area for casual conversation.

Great spot on the water

We enjoyed our weekend in Apalach and plan to use this place again. We traveled with a toddler and like most rentals, it’s not child proofed, lol. We are looking for ways to travel with our granddaughter. It wasn’t advertised as such so not a knock at all. The view over the water was great. Screened in balcony was a welcome surprise. We rented a golf cart and everything was fairly close. Looking forward to our next trip.

Great spot Close to town Plumming has some issues, tub drain is terrible, sink drain is terrible, warter pressure is way terrible. Tiles in the tub back wall are loose and has a mold looking issue at the tub. Other than that it was a great place Little more attention to the small details if i could recomend.

WOW!

This place was amazing for my wife, two kids (5 and 8), and I. The screened in deck with the view of the river view was the main reason we booked this room but upon arrival, we found SO much more to be excited about. The deck and the views were indeed amazing but we also quickly saw that everywhere you turned, you noticed that this was nicer than what you pay for. We hardly turned on the TV's(which were huge and internet connected with Netflix...kids liked that) but instead used the Bose Wave radio and pumped in some Oyster Radio while we spent most of our time on the deck watching boats come in and out, crab baskets being retrieved and set, alligators cruising down Scipio Creek, and watching some awesome sunrises and storms off in the distance. Kitchen is fully functional, bathrooms were very nice, king size bed was very clean and comfortable, and the pull out couches were more than adequate for the kids to sleep on. The photos do not fully do this place justice. We came here as an alternative to paying higher prices on St. George Island as there are really only houses available to rent there. We spent most of our time there during the day. Because of the winds and a little seaweed on St. George, we decided to try out St. Joseph State park as well one day and found that it is an awesome alternative and was only a little further the other direction from Apalach. There are also docks right outside the building that can be fished. Kids would enjoy that.

Stay ruined by ants!

We were fighting an ant infestation our entire stay! We contacted the owner's representative after the first day of misery and all she offered was more spraying--which didn't work! No offer of relocation or refund. Just a statement that she had told us about the problem when we checked in. Really a little late as we had driven from out of town to the condo and had our vacation planned around the accommodations. We had ants in our beds and, if we cooked anything, ants crawling on our arms, legs and faces! Apparently, everyone at the hotel had been aware of this situation for a long time! We were even told by someone on sited that this happens frequently in the summer. The unit also had cleanliness and maintenance issues. Found dead roaches on the kitchen floor upon arrival, and black curly hairs in the master bath tub, which also had rust spots and needed caulking. The shower door and tile was covered with soap scum. There were also spider webs on the ceiling of the porch, which had dirty screens. The Keurig coffee maker was broken. Not happy with this experience!

(UPDATE: The Water Street Hotel has valiantly fought the ants and seems to have gotten them under control.) We definitely try to make our guests happy but evidently it wasn't possible in this instance. This property was inspected the morning of guests arrival and was found to be insect free and rental ready. There was not another place to move these guests to during our busy season and the ants are beyond our control being only 1 of a 30 unit condo hotel managed/owned by a larger company. Since these guests refused to have pest control come in to address the issue and did not contact us again after the first day of their stay, we assumed the problem was resolved. Upon further investigation, the Keurig DOES work quite well and makes a darn good cup of coffee and we couldn't find anything amiss with the shower doors. The housekeeper spoke to the guest prior to their departure and was assured all was well. Based upon our history of satisfied guests and high marks for cleanliness, this guests claims prove to be mostly false.
