Adjacent to a national forest, the home serves as a quiet retreat, and yet is only minutes from the lake and multiple beaches, ski resort, shopping, casinos and downtown.

After a full day of adventures, relax under the stars in our new 7-person premium saltwater hot tub. This 3-level home offers 4 BR, 3.5 BA, 2 fireplaces and a downstairs entertainment/game room that features Ping Pong, Foosball and a big-screen TV.

Inside the home, you’ll find 4 spacious bedroom, 3.5 bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, 2 fireplaces and a wrap-around deck

*Just as many homes here in Tahoe, this home does Not offer A/C.

Winters in Lake Tahoe-
In the Lake Tahoe area, there are 7 world class ski resorts from 5 minutes to 1 hour away. We enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine each year, giving the Sierra Nevada Mountains some of the best skiing conditions in the world. At lake level, annual snowfall averages 125 inches. At alpine skiing elevations, the snowfall averages 300 to 500 inches each year. Here in Lake Tahoe there is winter enjoyment for everyone:

Reviewer Comments: The house is cute, clean, and in a great location—close to town and the slopes, and only about three minutes from the grocery store.Some updates would be helpful, particularly in the kitchen. New, larger oven pans are needed, and a crock pot should be provided. Most of the plates and bowls were chipped or cracked along the edges and should be replaced.The listing description was misleading. It advertises five beds accommodating ten people, but there are only four beds for eight people, plus a blow-up mattress. If the property is advertised for ten guests, proper beds should be provided for all ten. A blow-up mattress is not a suitable sleeping option for older guests.

It was a short drive to be on the mountain and a short drive in town to get supplies. The neighbors on either side seem like summer houses, so it was quite private and quiet when we went for a winter adventure. The views were great, the kitchen was stocked, and each floor was warm with fireplaces.

We were 15 mins from the slopes and 5 mins from town so location was great for skiing, dining, and casinos! The home was quite well equipped with additional TVs in bedrooms/gameroom, very nice bathrooms, and of course the hot tub which is great after a day of skiing! It was a great place for us to gather for the holidays and can sleep 8-10 for any group out to have a great time in a great place.Finally the staff was very helpful and went above and beyond when they got us another key to replace the one we misplaced and returned an object to us the we left behind!I can’t recommend this house more or this company who made our holiday vacation experience one we will never forget!Tim W

It is very tastefully and well-appointed with an excellent layout, including an open layout on the main floor with a great kitchen (as well as finished space in the basement). STR LLC was very responsive and helpful, including with excess parking recommendations due to the high snow levels. Minutes from Heavenly and the casinos as well. Kudos to the owners and STR LLC. It's just a great house overall, as advertised. They did an excellent job. If my family goes back to South Lake Tahoe, we will be signing up for this property again.
