Bright colors through out the unit make for a charming comfortable place to vacation, it has a fully stocked kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances. It has all the comforts of home while overlooking the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, from this 6th floor view, it truly is amazing.

The sleeping arrangements in this unit are as follows: master bedroom - 1 king bed, 2nd bedroom - 1 queen bed, 3rd bedroom bunk beds , NO CLOSET IN THIS ROOM. Sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit sleeps 8.

Gulf Dunes Condominiums is close to Fort Walton’s shopping and dining and a mere ten minutes from Destin. Stroll along the beach to the Okaloosa fishing pier or Boardwalk. Great spring getaway

The gulf dunes was an excellent choice for us with a great view, well appointed accomodations and close proximity to area resturants. The condo was tastefully decorated and was comfortable and clean. The only negative was a screen door that would jump the track leading to the balcony. The management on site tried to repair it but I think it may need something more involved than a quick fix. The beds were comfortable and cable tv in each bedroom in addition to the living room was most appreciated. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend.

It was clean though somewhat dated. We weren’t there for the furniture though! We were there for the view and the proximity to the beach, and this condo was perfect in those aspects.

Perfect Location for our family

This was the perfect size and location for our family! The condo is clean and nicely decorated for the beach. We enjoyed that the bunk room is actually a small room with a door and not bunk beds in the hallway. The only complaint would be the mattress in the master. I think because there is nowhere else to sit in the room the edges of the bed have been sat on so much they sink pretty bad. I have a bad back so this probably impacted me more than it would most. We definitely plan to stay here again, but will bring a mattress pad next time.

Brooks and Shorey's office is in Gulf Dunes so we were greeted every day by Marianne - if we needed something or had questions she was there to answer them. The location was perfect - within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. We were there for a relaxing vacation and we definitely were able to relax. I would recommend Gulf Dunes and Brooks and Shorey to anyone wanting to come to this area.

All appliance looked new, air, etc were functional. No issues experienced! The condominium complex is a favorite of ours for a few reasons. The ocean is just outside your balcony. The condo pool is below the balcony. So us adults can watch our older children (teens) from the comfort of the condo, if we desire. And the Ft Walton beach is not as crowded as other beaches. We love this place very much!!!

Some light bulbs were out in dining area and under microwave. Room was furnished with everything you needed with a parking spot in the covered garage. Love this area. Room was nicely decorated. Couch will need updating before long just from the usual wear. Love that you can walk to Stewby's and ice cream shop right across the street. Will definitely be back!

Decent Stay but Keep Looking

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd stay in Fort Walton but our last at this particular condo complex. I chose this unit because of the MANY wonderful reviews about how clean the complex was. When we arrived the first thing I noticed were the many stains. This is somewhat expected on a “well lived in” unit (like in the carpet, older couches, etc., but there were blood stains on the sheets and an unknown “other” stain as well. I wish I had taken pictures. On top of that there is a large hole behind the master bath toilet. As far as the complex goes, there are 2 SMALL pools for both buildings only 4 1/2 feet deep and the gate codes hardly work. You have to attempt them several times to get them to open. And for beachside service, we asked the guys if they could set up an extra umbrella (didn’t even need chairs - but we had 4 people with us and wanted to stay together and there wasn’t a spot where we could all sit) and they said they couldn’t set them up outside of their normal spots because it made pickup harder. It was literally 5 feet from another umbrella. The only plus I can say is the staff was extremely helpful and got us checked in 2 hours earlier than expected. Love the area and our pas experiences with Brooks and Shorey but next time we will definitely stay somewhere else.

Lovely beachfront condo

Everything was absolutely perfect for our vacation. The property was exactly as described. The only recommendation I’d have is to include some basic condiments and more dishwasher detergent.
