Girls Trip Perfection

We were a group of 3 ladies (who are also cousins) and stayed for a long weekend in this amazing third floor apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean, the rooftop sitting area was fabulous, the neighborhood was walkable to everywhere we needed to go, and Valerie was a fantastic communicator. I cannot say enough good about this place and I would be thrilled to stay here again!

If you are going to visit Charleston, book this place. Perfect location, walk everywhere. Bagels in the neighborhood (what could be better!) Wonderful terrace for visiting with friends with view of the Ravenel Bridge. Fully equipped kitchen. Beautifully decorated. This unit is the best!

This property was absolutely stunning! Everything in the condo is beautiful and immaculately maintained. The neighborhood is beautiful and very safe. The building is also a short walk or quick drive from everything you would want to do in Downtown Charleston. Valerie was the most gracious host too. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone I know traveling to Charleston.

Wonderful space Excellent Location

My wife and I had nothing but high praise. The condo was exactly as advertised, with comfortable funiture, excellent kitchen (can't go out every night) and roomy patio perfect for cocktails and dining al fresco. The location is central to most of Charleston. We were able to walk almost everywhere. Will recommend to family and friends. Hope to have another stay in the future.

Hidden gem

Not a detail was missed with this property! Pictures don’t do the space justice. The location is close enough to walk yet far enough away that is was super quiet. The bedrooms were spaced apart making it a nice space for two couples. The patio was a wonderful addition to the space for coffee in the mornings and drinks in the evening. If you are considering this property, book it, you won’t be disappointed.

Valerie was very welcoming and always available. Any questions we had she responded immediately. Her home was perfectly located for our needs, a few blocks from downtown and all it has to offer plus, numerous restaurants nearby that we frequented. I went to Co-op four times. We were there five weeks but still, that’s a lot!The pictures allow you to see how it’s beautifully decorated and modern, but it doesn’t really show how large it is. It’s BIG, and spread out nicely in case you have someone in the second bedroom. Both are a good distance from the living room (especially the Primary) you wouldn’t hear anything if someone was up late. The kitchen has top notch appliances and a very large and beautiful counter with plenty of seating. Doors in kitchen and living room open to Juliet balconies, good for airflow on nice days. There is an office that was also larger than we thought it would be and it had a lovely view of the Ravenel Bridge. The desk was a good size L shape, plenty room to spread out. Big sofa in living room, large and very attractive dining table that got plenty of use when our in town family came to visit and an incredible terrace. So large and complete with table and chairs on one end then a separate lounge and seating area on the other. The final and possibly most luxurious amenity, when you enter the elevator and tap your key fob, the doors open right into the apartment. That is impressive!Thank you Valerie for making our stay so comfortable.

Wow. This was the most beautiful home to stay in. Not only was Valerie gracious and accommodating, but the home was just as beautiful. Fully stocked, gorgeous views from the terrace, comfortable setting all around. The pictures do not even do justice. Short walk to King St and lots of things to do within walking distance. The heart of downtown is just a short drive or uber for fabulous shopping and restaurants. If I could live here I would! Was very hard to leave this house. We will be coming back for sure.

We came for my wife's 50th birthday..a well deserved trip.We were a group of 4. This Penthouse....having the elevator door open to this absolutely gorgeous entrance was the first of many lovely views and decor. The kitchen is a chef's kitchen..you can do so much. Stocked in this beautiful hutch was every glass you wanted to be the vessel of a cocktail, a shaker and all accessories to be a bartender, gosh there was even varieties of toothpicks...I was making fantastic Martini's with blue cheese stuffed olives sitting on the rooftop enjoying this place with my wife and family! The master bedroom was incredible and we all felt so so special being there. Very clean and again stocked-we didn't want for anything....even toiletries (wife was excited)!! It was the perfect location for what we were there for. King Street was 4 blocks away. Great bagel store on Cannon St and many many many eateries in walking distance. I can say that you will be even more excited seeing this in person than you will from the photos on the website. Thank you for providing an absolutely wonderful experience. We will definitely rebook this again and will recommend anyone to stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and the location was great. I would definitely recommend this condo and would not think twice about renting this condo again. Having a parking space is a high priority especially in this city.

Amazing place with great location!

I would just like to say thank you to Valerie for all of her help and accommodations. I stayed in the Apartment for my wedding and the photographers could not stop talking about the beauty of the place. The porch is a perfect place to have breakfast and coffee in the morning and late night talks with the family. The kitchen had everything to make a nice meal and more! The master bedroom/bathroom were very cozy and you felt at home. I would definitely recommend this place to all!

Beautiful Charleston residence

This was the perfect location and home base for a lovely weekend in Charleston. We never moved the car, because we could walk to all the restaurants and shops in downtown. The rooftop terrace is truly a delightful addition - perfect for eating, drinks, or just taking in the scenery!

Lovely, Comforable Charleston Home

We had a wonderful time in Charleston. It started with the check-in into this lovely, comfortable home! The rooftop deck is perfect for after dinner drinks and conversation. We were able to catch up with friends we hadn't seen in a year, seated outside under the stars. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We'd go back in a minute!

Sparkling clean property with lots of 'extras'

This is a sparkling clean and well-maintained property. We have stayed in a few VRBO properties and one thing we've noticed is that the dishes in the various units may not always be super clean...whether that's from infrequent rentals (dusty dishes) or old dishwashers or poor property management...but not here - this place is super clean, including the dishes. This unit is U-shaped and each of the 2 bedrooms is at the end of the U, so each bedroom has complete privacy. There is a very nice kitchen with a long island that worked well for us for casual breakfasts and lunches. We found a Harris Teeter supermarket not too far away (driving distance) and we definitely took advantage of the lovely kitchen. There are a lot of nice extras here: 1)The unit has cable TV AND access to Netflix and Amazon (through a Roku remote); 2) there is a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods (I've found not everyone offers free coffee! This is a really nice touch!); 3) the towels and bedding are very nice -- soft and in interesting patterns; 4) but the highlight here is the lovely patio which gets a ton of afternoon sun. There are very nice plants and chairs on the patio, along with a table and chairs. It's really a pleasant place to spend a morning or late afternoon. This unit is located in a neighborhood and there was quite a bit of construction going on while we were there. The unit has really good windows and doors and you don't hear much, if any, construction activity if you have the unit closed up. You are just a few blocks from King Street and nice restaurants like Halls Chophouse and fun stores like Blue Bicycle Books. We also walked to the Eclectic Cafe, which is a cafe featuring vinyl records and a comfy vibe. There are a number of spices and plenty of dishes and pots and pans should you do your own cooking. You will need to bring your own hair dryer and your own bath products here (some places seems to provide 'travel sized' products, others don't -- this one doesn't have those things, so bring your own). There is 1 onsite parking spot and the unit has an elevator access. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time we are in Charleston. Thank you Valerie!

Perfect Vacation

We had a wonderful 6 night stay in Charleston. The Penthouse Apartment was exactly as advertised with comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a beautiful rooftop deck. We found the location perfect for the varied activities we had planned which included leaving the city for a college football game several hours drive away. While the Penthouse is certainly close to all the tourist attractions, we enjoyed strolling the neighborhood and meeting people who live in this fine city. We spent several late afternoons sitting on the deck watching an afternoon storm roll in or a pretty sunset.

Excellent location, perfect accommodations

The Penthouse is absolutely beautiful. The location was excellent for our family's needs. We were able to walk to all of the restaurants and shopping on King Street. The home is perfectly outfitted with all necessities. The rooftop patio is amazing. We wish Mother Nature would have allowed us to enjoy it more. The owner was very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this property. It will exceed your expectations!
