Country home situated on nearly 100 acres with a flowing river running through property, hiking path and lots of wildlife, located approximately 25 miles from popular Wisconsin Dells. The retreat is minutes away from Cascade Mountain ski resort.
Home features three full size bedrooms along with a pull-out sofa and loveseat sleepers in the living room. Each bedroom includes a full-size bed, dressers, night stands, lamps, roomy closets and linens.
The full service kitchen includes seating for six, full size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, dishes, along with pots and pans.
Washer and dryer located in basement.
Spacious living room includes lots of seating, large picture window view of river twisting through door yard, relaxing fireplace space heater, 32" color television and expandable dining room table.
Recently remodeled bathroom offers a ceramic tile bath/shower unit, new sink and towels. A rustic shower-only stall is also located in basement.
For your recreational needs, a pool table and basketball arcade game are located in basement.

The property is beautiful for starters. This spot really reminds you of grampa and grandmas house. All the folks around are as polite and welcoming as they come. Our favorite aspect was the location, so many beautiful adventures within an hour or two drive and you get to return to a secluded haven. The shallow river that runs through the property brings endless fun for finding crawdads, clams and cool rocks.

We chose this property for our annual girls trip. We spent a lot of time outdoors and had a wonderful time. With that being said, the home itself was not what it was portrayed to be. There was a very strong musty smell in the home which was almost unbearable. Thankfully the weather was perfect for having the windows opened, otherwise we woukd have had a hard time breathing. The shower was not clean and there were pretzels and major dirt under the loveseat. The coffee maker had old grounds in it from another guest and it took 2 hours (literally) to make a pot of coffee. The basement is listed as a gameroom, and the pool table and other games were down there but the floor was wet and slippery and was definitely a slipping hazard. There were piles of wet towels and the musty smell was so horrendous you could barely breathe down there. We were really hoping to love it here and to make this our annual destination, but not a chance. If you have any allergies or asthma, or have kids, stay away.

A great trip to remember because of this home. The flowing Fox River made this home unique, I believe.But the owner should focus on the cleanliness of the property and the rooms.

Enjoyed the large kitchen, large living room, and the surrounding quiet of the location. Well stocked with linens, kitchen utensils, etc. Comfortable place. Would definitely visit here again!

Wonderful, relaxing get a way. Very clean with incredible views. We especially enjoyed the trail! The basement has a lot of moisture and the air smells moldy, but the games down there are cool. Amazing communication with the owner and property was as described. Will definitely stay again!

The house is very old and smells so bad!! Really needs a dehumidifier or 2 in there! We HAD to open the windows in order to breathe. We left for a bit and came back to the unattached garage door open and an Amish neighbor on the phone inside. We had NO idea this could happen! The grass was very long and the mosquitoes carried us away, so no fire! Even if we wanted to use bug spray - none of us were comfortable using the shower to wash the bug spray off. There was mouse poop on the counter and I killed more little bugs than I’d like! The bathroom is so very old! Towels appeared dirty as they were hung up on the make shift dryer in there. Was so thankful we only had it booked 1 night! When I asked about the neighbor, I was told I was informed which I was not. I also questioned the really long grass and was told it was mowed by someone 2-3 weeks ago and she didn’t know what I was talking about - however it recently rained - which means grass grows! So much noise due to bridge construction right in the front yard. Didn’t get to walk to the river bc of extremely long grass and didn’t see horse and buggies drive by due to construction. Getting ahold of the owners was not convenient and replies back were very snarky. Would not book again!
