Overview:

Country Cottage is a charming rental located in Apple Creek, OH. Nestled in the hills of Ohio's Amish country, you'll love this unique home, and the entire property is yours to explore and enjoy. This home has a kitchen furnished with the basics for cooking, and lots of living space for mingling over food and connecting with loved ones. There are four bedrooms, plus a sleeper sofa, sleeping a total of 13 people. There are also two full bathrooms. Outdoors you'll find a new hot tub, (Pictures have not been updated yet) an expansive yard for relaxing and games, and a lovely pond for your enjoyment. Please practice safety around the pond.

The kitchen provided all we needed to cook for the 10 of us. The spaces were perfect, dining room, 3 LR spaces, eat in kitchenette. Bathrooms equipped well. The outdoors was more than we could ask for, with the pond, bridge, gazebo, firepit, hot tub. Thanks for a great space!

The inside of the house was clean, spacious and comfortable. The Florida room had a perfect view of the awesome backyard. It was inconvenient we were asked to not use the dryer. The outside furniture of the house was not so clean or comfortable. The grill was dirty and sub par. It too was inconvenient that neither of the lighters provided worked. The hot tub was first class. The pond and grounds were BEAUTIFUL! We enjoyed feeding the fish the food that was provided. We also enjoyed walking the grounds and gazing from the bridge & gazebo. Again, the gazebo was dirty and not appealing to sit on. Same for the paddle boat. We would have liked to use it but it was dirty and filled with water. It was nice they did have life jackets. Overall, we were comfortable and appreciated the clean, spacious and comfortable house.

We had a blast. House was perfect and we loved all the amenities. My kids relaxed from college and enjoyed the hot tub! Played card games and board games in the dining room. Kitchen was perfect.

I highly recommend this property. It could not have been a better weekend. Open communication with the owner and fast replies. Very clean. We were even greeted with home made delicious cookies! We will definitely be back!

The house was very large and had plenty of space for all 10 of us. Large bedrooms and beautiful scenery outside! We didn't use the hot tub on this trip. Just know that there are not any televisions in the house. But that was fine with us. I would definitely recommend staying at the cottage house.

The house was perfect for our family. Two suggestions. There was no body wash or soap for showering in any bathroom. We have used many vrbo homes and never experienced this before. Secondly, the towels and wash cloths need to be replaced. They were old and very rough.
