Tucked away in Yancey County, North Carolina, is the Tiny Gingerbread Home.
Here, although not far from the hustle and bustle of town, you can relax inside, while right outside the sunroom is an Aviary, woods, and farmyard.
You can then take off to see the sights and sounds of Asheville's many beautiful craft shops, fine restaurants, and local breweries, go for a day of hiking in the many famous mountain trails in our area, or, in Winter, go skiing at Wolf Ridge Ski Resort which is right above us.
We have lived here on Miller Branch Road in Mars Hill, NC for 25 years now. Saleh, who is also an artist, built the tiny home and I had the joy of decorating it. We began renting with VRBO about ten years ago.
The animals that live here are three pigs and three sheep. There's an aviary of pigeons, ducks, chickens and a goose - - right below the Gingerbread 's picture windows. They are adorable to watch and feed.
My husband and I also live on the property in our home.
We are surrounded by woods and there is a large farmyard you can sit in near a babbling
Creek where the sheep will come to visit you.
The tiny home is ideal for single people because of its size, but for couples, the Tiny Gingerbread can be very romantic, though small.
Also, because we have excellent Wi-Fi, working from home online is convenient.
The Tiny Gingerbread is ideal for traveling nurses. We are 28.8 minutes from Mission Hospital in Asheville, 23.3 miles from
Blueridge Hospital in Spruce Pine, and 24 miles from Greenville Hospital in Tennessee.
Our location is unique. We are right below a ski resort. We are seven minutes from the highway and are central to Asheville, Mars Hill, and the quaint town of Burnsville. North Asheville is twenty minutes away, while Mars Hill is ten minutes, and Burnsville is fifteen.
About our road : Miller Branch Rd is a hard-packed gravel - dirt road that's not steep nor curvy. Four wheel drives are not necessary, but the most comfortable cars to drive on the road are cars with medium to high clearance such as SUVs and small trucks. Low clearance cars are highly discouraged. We are just a half mile up from the asphalt road called Fox Creek.
So come and have a stay here, at the Tiny Gingerbread!
