My 4 high school friends joined me at this cute little cottage in Ocean Springs. It was perfect for our group and the hosts provided many amenities. We enjoyed shopping on Washington Avenue the Shearwater Pottery and Walter Anderson museum a two block walk to the beach — we would return and stay at this cottage. Thanks much for checking in with us and providing such a nice getaway.
Spacious, clean, easy walking to the beach and downtown The master bedroom was isolated in the back away from the rest of the house, which was quite nice.

Thank you so much Mr Gilliland! We really enjoyed hosting you and hope to host you all again soon!
Definitely one of the BEST places that I have ever stayed at! Super Clean!! Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need!! All beds are extremely comfortable for a great nights sleep!! Conveniently located and close to everything!! The back porch / deck is large for outside dining / gatherings and the front porch is so inviting! The front porch swing was another one of my favorites!! The hostess was top notch and very welcoming!! Communication was the best I have ever experienced! I'll certainly be back! Thank you for helping make our weekend wonderful!!
I stayed in this property with a group of 5 woman for the Peter Anderson Arts Festival. This home was the perfect location! It was a short walk (maybe 2 blocks) to the festival, and also many restaurants/bars and the beach. The home was very clean, laid out well and the beds were comfortable. We each had our own bed to sleep in. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen seemed well stocked. The host was very easy to communicate with and had great suggestions for the weekend. Highly recommend this rental and hope to be back soon!
Inside was very nice and had everything you needed; it was well equipped and maintained. Outside the property could use some maintenance; specifically the patio was missing a side screen door and there were a few places in the screen that needed some repair. Not a problem at this time of year (mid November) but needs to be addressed before spring as insects on the coast can be a real issue at times. Overall, we had a great time and would come back. Very convenient location and quiet neighborhood.
Our family loved this home with beautiful decor, great location near town, and one block from the water. We enjoyed the peaceful mornings sitting on the front porch drinking coffee. The kitchen seemed to be well stocked even though we chose to eat out. We were on our way to our family reunion or we would have loved to have stayed longer.

We were so happy to host you and your family! Please visit us soon Joi! You guys were a delight 😊
Let me just start by saying, the exterior photos may deter you BUT don’t let them! The interior photos are true to post. Everything looked as pictured! This house, as we learned, is a historic 120 year old home that has been renovated but the owners still managed to keep the historic charm. The home has three large bedrooms (characteristic of older homes), a lovely dining room, spacious living area, and master edition. It has 3 full bath rooms (two with tubs/showers [1-clawfoot!], 1 with shower only). There is also a middle sleeping area with daybed and trundle that can be closed off from living and master. Plenty of sleeping quarters for larger families. The beds were comfortable (this is a must for me) and the linens and bedding were beautifully curated to lend to an ocean home feel with tasteful decor not typical of beach rentals. This home is in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to the hustle and bustle of the downtown area and not far from the beach. There are also a couple of close shops and restaurants outside of the Government Street area. The outdoor space in the back was very inviting and would be a great retreat for entertaining the family by grilling or just having your meal outdoors. The host was very communicative and helpful. She left a nice little treat for the guests on arrival. Lovely owners who care about the home ans guest experience! One downside is no golf cart BUT there is a rental in town! Stay here, you will not regret it!
Well stocked and lovely decorated home with comfortable beds and plenty of space for our family of 7. We will definitely be back! We walked and biked everywhere and the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. My children enjoyed the swing in the backyard and the grandmothers loved sitting on the front porch. It was the perfect home for all of to enjoy our spring break.
This place is wonderful!! It is an immaculately decorated historic cottage in the heart of the golf cart district. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a space that was both beautiful and genuinely comfortable. The host was absolutely fabulous, responsive, welcoming, which all added to creating a memorable stay. That level of care shows in every corner of the home. The outdoor spaces truly set this property apart. The backyard is a perfect retreat, with a cozy fire pit and seating area that made evenings feel special and relaxed. And the front porch? Pure heaven. It was our favorite spot for morning coffee and unwinding at the end of the day.The location is unbeatable. Both quiet, charming, and ideal for exploring the area by golf cart, which made the whole experience feel even more unique and fun.We have stayed in many rentals, and this one stands out as something special. If you are considering booking, do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed. We would return in a heartbeat.
