About this property
ARROW HOUSE -Modern Luxury A Frame at the Entrance of Beavers Bend
ARROW HOUSE is a modern luxury A-Frame cabin retreat built at the mouth of historic Beavers Bend State Park within the Ouachita National Forest. The architecture and design of ARROW HOUSE was envisioned and created in order to provide the Beavers Bend area with a one of a kind quintessential modern A-Frame cabin experience, that blends the intimacy of iconic 1930’s A-Frame architecture with modern-organic design and furnishings, luxurious amenities and comfort, and all contained within the canopy of the vast wilderness and scenic beauty. ARROW HOUSE consists of 1 bedroom, 1 full sleeping loft, 1 bathroom, open living, kitchen, dining room, covered outdoor upper and lower decks, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit. The land developed was formerly once part of the Oklahoma National Forest allowing the cabin structure to sit amidst enormous pine trees as well as aspen, cedar, cherry, dogwood, juniper, maple, oak and sweet gum trees. Below the vast forest is an amazing species of native shrubs, plants, muscadine grape vines, succulents and mosses. All of which combined allow for great viewing of wildlife and birds in their natural habitat. Due to ARROW HOUSE’s proximity to Beavers Bend State Park and historic location of the land, crossing over an original 1930’s stone and timber bridge will herald your arrival to the cabins entrance. From ARROW HOUSE there is a serenity of seeing and hearing the seasonal river running below this beautiful piece of history and allowing the water to travel along the properties edge. Inside ARROW HOUSE guests are enveloped in a two story space that was intentionally and literally built from the inside, out which insured your eye was surrounded by nothing but 100% organic beauty. The interior walls, floors and ceiling insets are solid (locally grown) pine, with massive 4” ruff cut cedar beams and trusses vaulting the ceiling to create the perfect “A”. True to the purpose for A-Frame vacation homes, a modern black cast iron wood stove sits in the living room adding both function and a sculptural beauty to the space. The open dining room and kitchen provides enough seating for 8 guests. Within the kitchen, custom cabinetry and stainless steel appliances were purposefully placed to allow open shelving between the massive cedar beams to be both a provider of storage and art. The two stories of glass were designed to give you a breathtaking tree top view from all three of these open spaces as well as the loft above. From the sliding doors you are at a visual elevation that provides a yearlong picturesque view of Mother Nature’s absolute beauty on ARROW HOUSE’s sprawling deck. From the living area, you can ascend up into a spacious, open sleeping loft furnished to allow you with a vast space for sleeping, reading, extra guest quarters, or meditation. This second floor loft space provides full front and rear optics through the exterior walls of glass, as well as an upstairs covered balcony which gives you an additional view of the forest and the property. The master bedroom resides on the ground floor and is furnished with a platform bed with luxury mattress and sheets to insure that your nights are as restful and peaceful as your days. The bathroom adjacent the bedroom provides vessel sink, ample surface space and storage as well as stall shower accommodations. ARROW HOUSE’s interior design, art and furnishings were selected to insure that you know, sense and feel like you are somewhere very special. Though naturally furnished to provide you with the upmost comfort, the essence of ARROW HOUSE design is to promote wonder, inspiration and to transport you to a place that you have never experienced. ARROW HOUSE is the ultimate in unique vacation cabins and A-Frame architecture. The owners designers + creators of ARROW HOUSE discovered and fell in love with the Beavers Bend / Hotchatown area in 2005 and built at that time one of the very first modern rental cabins in the area located in Southern Hills (Nature House). With the awareness of the vast and fast growing cabin developments.

Check in and check out was easy, location was great as it wasn’t far from activities or restaurants. The cabin and rooms were clean, there were just a couple large cobwebs on the ceiling.
What a delightful property!! It was easy to find and close enough to everything but still tucked away in nature. The beds were super comfy, and we loved sitting on the porches enjoying the serenity of nature.
The cabin was so cute and nestled in the fall leaves outside made for a very cozy experience. We enjoyed the hot tub! The directions to the cabin, the clear directions and easy access to enter were great. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed. The shower had hot water and good pressure. Our puppy loved the big deck to sniff around on and eat leaves. It was wonderful and we hope to return to the Arrow House again next fall.
Very comfortable nice and quite cabin we went for a quick weekend getaway and it did not disappoint everything you needed was there the only thing was the gps told us to turn on the road right before it and tried to bring us around behind it but as soon as we figured it out it was great
We had a restful time at Arrow house . I loved the simple charm and feel of the A frame- it was quiet peaceful and private . Unique and brought back fond memories of cabins in the 70’s.

The cabin is nice, tho theirs is no cleaning supplies provided. How are we expected to keep the space clean? Also no salt or pepper which was unexpected there’s salt and pepper shakers on the table but no salt and pepper in them. There was no complementary shampoo/conditioner or body wash like most places. The hot tub gets really hot which is nice but not all the jets work. There is a leak in the shower head which is a bit annoying. Overall the place is nice but the quality for the money isn’t adding up. I also feel like some of the picture are a little misleading like the shower. There is not a clear picture of the bathroom so I expected a full size shower and it’s a very tiny stand up shower.
Everything was great except the towels were wet and very stained. But everything else was good. We had no cable or internet went out Wednesday morning, which was wonderful.
The cabin is really cute. We enjoyed everything about it. The only recommendation is there is dust buildup in corners and on items set for decor in the corners. Also, I know it is high up but there are thick cob/spider webs in the rafters of the ceiling.
It was a beautiful house. So charming. The only issue was losing power for one night for about 12 hours. The rain blew in quickly and was over . The power went off and stsyed off. But truly the house was perfect besides that.

40 yards off the road sitting in a green lush forested natural nature area…seasonal creek & all.
The A-Fame architecture is great & there is very efficient use of every inch of space inside & out! Property is as advertised style and amenities wise.
TV in the downstairs living room could use an upgrade, dryer ventilation needs to be checked, hot tub could be a bit easier designed to remove & recover. Plus, once a quarter large front window could use a proper/professional cleaning. We had a nice time & left the place just as we found it with a minor repairs to the upstairs fan pull chain that was left unattended prior to our arrival. We would like to visit again during the winter months & use the fire place.
The property was beautiful and perfect for the 4 of us. The picture was very accurate. The cabin was very clean and had games and movies already available if needed which was nice. It was a little closer to other cabins then I thought it would be but wasn't too bad, got a little loud late Saturday night but never heard anyone other than that. I am a fan sleeper and need a little noise, the cabin is very quiet, and you can hear every movement, footstep, etc. so my suggestion is bringing a fan or download the app that gives you different fan sounds lol. That worked for me. Overall, the cabin was really nice and had everything needed for a nice relaxing get away. Also very well located to get to all the tourist stuff without having to drive around too much
