Once you enter this luxurious three level spacious cabin you will be greeted by high vaulted beamed ceilings and a floor to ceiling stacked stone fireplace. Next you will see the large and fully equipped kitchen with table seating for eight. As you reach the top of the staircase you will find the first of three large master suites decorated luxuriously; two with beside fireplace and Jacuzzi. Down stairs you will find another stacked stone fireplace with a large flat screen TV to watch the big game and an amenity filled game room offering a Multi Game Arcade, Pool Table, Air Hockey, and High Speed Wi-Fi internet. Take a swim in the indoor or outdoor resort pool or play a round of putt-putt at this popular luxury resort. This luxurious cabin has a total of four fireplaces, three large bedrooms, two pullout couches, five bathrooms, a TV in every room and plenty of space. Whether for a couple’s romantic weekend or a family vacation, this is what pampering is all about. No smoking allowed at this location. Great Bear Crossing cabin

This cabin sits high up on the mountain. The cabin seemed to have more room than the pictures showed. The kitchen is nicely stocked with plates, flatware, and cooking pots/pans. Has upgraded stove/oven and fridge. Loved the metal shelves by fridge to store extra food. All beds were comfy and in good shape. The cabin has little lamps in main areas like living and kitchen that were helpful to keep on overnight as a night light. The house is very dark at night. Each bathroom and kitchen had a nice supply of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand lotion and several rolls of TP along with dish soap and one dishwasher pod and clothes washing pod. We (in mid 50's) did not find it to be a negative, but the ground in front of the house is not level. We were either fighting a heavy swinging car door or stepping up into the seat of our vehicles. It is not possible to park three cars at this location. Luckily, the short period of day time we had three vehicles there we did a L shape park job with them. Any car(s) will need parked parallel to the house. The area isn't wide enough to park at an angle without being on the road. Again, not a negative to us, just noting it. The house has an awesome view from the back porch with plenty of chairs to enjoy it! The only thing that frustrated us a little was the tv. Couldn't figure out how to get regular tv. If youtubeTV wouldn't have blocked, we could have used our own login for that. I guess vaca isn't for TV! We had an awesome time

Finding our cabin was a little difficult but once we got there it was amazing. Wish we were aloud to use the fireplaces but all in all everybody loved the place and the view.

Great place to be during nearby baseball tournament

Aunt Bugs was a wonderful place to stay during our week-long baseball tournament. The unit was clean, and large enough for 3 dads and 3 players to sleep and live comfortably. The game room in the basement is a great plus for the kids.

The cabin was nice. The pictures looked much better online but nonetheless it was a nice cabin. Kitchen utensils were cheap and several missing pieces. Limited garbage bags or any type of cleaning supplies. In addition the photos felt misleading regarding the proximity of the pool and putt putt (also which you need your own clubs and balls) which we were short of at the cabin. It also is nice to have a brochure for local attractions All in all it was a great trip these are just some improvement areas for the price. Thanks!!

Great cabin

This was such a great cabin! I was hoping to replicate a stay I had up in pigeon forge 30 years ago as a kid and the feelings hit me all over and more. My kids really enjoyed the game room. I enjoyed the view and the hot tub. I loved drawing on the porch while watching the sunset over the mountains. It was purely picturesque! I can’t wait to go out there again!

Family weekend getaway

I was very impressed with the cabin when I arrived but then later realized our hot tub didn’t work. I paid over $500 a night and the main reason we rented the cabin was because of the hot tub and nice view. The maintenance guy and later electricians came out. Was there the entire day so we couldn’t even really relax cause all the people coming and going. The electricians stayed the entire afternoon trying to fix the hot tub. I emailed Aunt Bugs and tried calling but no response after. They did not want to obviously refund me any of my money back. Very let down with our stay and wish it could have been better since my whole family was finally together.

Spring Break Getaway

Our family stayed here and had a great time! Everything was as described on the listing. There was plenty of fun to be had inside the cabin during the days that were rainy. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Nice cabin if it had been maintained. Carpet heavily stained, refrigerator froze all our vegetables, light bulbs out in every room, Christmas tree lights half lit, only one of the 4 electric fireplaces worked, thermostat downstairs with a bedroom and game room broken, toilets gross under rims, tv remote in main room not working properly stuck on one low volume, upstairs mattress dips toward middle, downstairs bathroom lever broken, vacuum sitting in guest bathroom, wine glasses but no wine opener, what more can be said.

2020 Graduation Celebration Trip

This trip was for my son and his friends combined with extended family. The property was great and had a very homey feel to it. The kitchen seemed to be extremely well stocked. The only item we needed and could not locate was a cork screw. We had a large Minibus so parking was a bit tricky but we were able to fit the Bus and a small car within the parking area. Everything was just as advertised. I was very sad to leave and would gladly stay here again!

The view was nice, the cabin was well stocked, clean, we did have issues with the tv in the game room and the internet. I reached out to the phone # listed and had to leave a message. Unfortunately they didn't get back to me until the day I checked out. With that being said we had plenty to do in the gameroom that the tv was not missed so much. I will definitely consider using the Aunt Bugs rentals for future travel.

Nice Cabin But the Ammenities Don’t Work!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really loved the view and the cabin was very clean. I was disappointed that three of the four fireplaces didn’t work, the popcorn machine was broken and dirty, and one of the hot tubs didn’t have enough water to use it. This was all reported on the evening of our arrival and nothing was done. I was told to leave a note for the cleaning lady because her husband was the handyman and they had never seen them. I was contacted by email after I left the note wanting to know if I reported it during my stay..which I had. I rented the cabin for the amenities and was very disappointed in how things were handled. Im am rating well for cleanliness but unfortunately it’s lumped with maintenance. The staff was very nice but very unhelpful.

The cabin has plenty for everyone to do and the kitchen had everything we needed. This was a new area for us and we really liked the location. We discovered a lot of new things in Wears Valley. The resort was really nice and while the cabins are close together, we couldn't really tell when we were enjoying the views from the decks. The beds were comfortable and it is great that the cabin is dog friendly. We could have used more towels, and while I understand the need for them with the cabins so close together, the blinds and window coverings take away from the amazing view. Overall, this is a great cabin.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. You have provided all the immensities we needed that exceeded our expectations. We did have an ant problem but, you sent out the Pest Control people that took care of the problem. You do have a couch in the living room that needs repair or caves in to the floor on one side. All in all...a wonderful experience. This is our 3rd time staying in an Aunt Bugs Cabin & we will be back.
