We loved the tiny house space! The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook our meals with ease. The shower was terrific and the views simply gorgeous! We also enjoyed the hot tub.

Small but smart use of space was plenty spacious for our family of 5. The hot tub was a beautiful place to see the northern lights (yes! We got some). Host was communicative and friendly. There is no oven but a stovetop and a wonderful grill. Would recommend

Cute little set of two cabins with beautiful views. Somewhat centrally located for southern ring travels. The hot tub was relaxing and the deck was nice for extra space. Please note that the sleeping quarters are in two separate buildings and the only shower is in the main cabin. Only real draw back for our family were little things like no handle on the smaller cabin bathroom door so it didn’t stay shut. Other than that, it was a sufficient place to relax and sleep for the next days adventures.

Great place to stay in the Selfoss area! Comfortably fit our family of 6 adults. Hot tub was clean and worked great. Great communication from the host. Would definitely stay again.

Love the cabin. The gps is a little weird getting there. Location is close enough to selfoss that enjohying good food and shopping for essentials is easy. The stay was very enjoyable!

What nice hosts! They sent us information on local activities and such. Everything was clean and the jacuzzi was such a nice treat after long days of hiking. They have heated towel racks and extra heaters, which we found helpful after a day of hiking in the rain! The kitchen was very nice although you do have to wash your own dishes. But mostly everything you would need to prep a meal in the kitchen was provided. Thank you for an amazing stay! If I'm back in Iceland I would definitely go back there again.

The Northern Lights cabin is a wonderful place to stay. Sitting in the lovely hot tub, looking through the glass walls around the deck - what an incredible view of the sky and the Icelandic countryside! There are great views from big windows inside the house as well. So much to take in. It's all very peaceful. The main house and guest cottage were both very clean and well stocked. We cooked a couple of dinners at home. The nearest restaurant was about 10 minutes away. You definitely need a vehicle and the roads are made of large pieces of gravel inside this very rural neighborhood. We rented a 4x4 vehicle but it wasn't necessary during the early October timeframe. It was nice to have 1.5 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms between the main cabin and guest cottage.Selfoss is the nearest town - about 20 minutes away. It has everything you could need there. Many shops and restaurants. Multiple large grocery stores. Also near the cabin is the Fridheimer tomato restaurant. Absolutely delicious! We ate there twice because it was so good.The Kerid Crater is very close - maybe a 10 minute drive. We were bummed to miss the Northern lights while we were there. But we really appreciated the quiet living and beautiful stars. Sigurjon was a helpful and responsive host. We had no problems while we were there but he was available to answer any questions. We highly recommend this amazing cabin.
