Great property; it's clean, has great access to the lake, and the floorplan is perfect for a small family including kids. The host was responsive and clear in communication before during and after our stay.

The home was nice, clean and it was a wonderful setting on the lake with great views. I would have rated it a 10 but there was some issues for us. The furniture was very uncomfortable the couch and the 2 side chairs were of a low back variety. For tall people it was very hard to get comfortable and hard on our backs. There was no instructions on how to operate the TV in the family room, we were never able to get a channel to come up. The bedroom was fine. Good yhing I brought own Roku. The last issue was the kitchen, it was the worse stocked kitchen regarding utensils of all the many VRBO properties I've stayed in. One night we had my son and daughter-in- law and 2 grand kids over for dinner. There was 6 of us and there were only 5 dinner plates. Silverware was sparce with only 2 teaspoons. There were 4 wine classes no Colander for straining spaghetti etc. We would love to go back and stay in this house as we go to Seattle to see our kids and love the housr and setting but as it is now we would look for something more comfortable. I was a little shocked that the host sent me a message that we were only allowed to have 4 guest at a time and they had to leave by 10pm. I have never seen this before and may explain way there was so little furniture in the family room and very little kitchen utensils.

Check in was easy, communication was very good. The patio view of the lake was awesome. Comfortable patio furniture, lovely flowers and surrounding trees. Very quiet, private and relaxing. Comfy bedding, large kitchen and cozy living room. Parking on premises. Met our needs.

Perfect family spot

We spent an afternoon in/on the lake in the paddle boat, and an evening around the firepit. The house is great, brand new flooring and furniture inside, and very clean. HOT water. Great hosts and management. We’ve stayed in three vrbos in the Seattle area as a family and this has been our favorite.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review Geoffrey! It’s gratifying to know that your family had a memorable time enjoying the lake, the firepit, and the comfort of the home. We’re happy you appreciated the upgrades and cleanliness, as those details were arranged with care to make your stay seamless. It means a lot that this has been your favorite VRBO in the Seattle area. We’d be absolutely thrilled to welcome you back anytime your travels bring you this way.

Great Neighborhood

The house was fantastic. It's an updated 1950's home on a small lake. The home was clean and the bathrooms and kitchen were updated with newer furniture in the bedrooms, dining, and living room area. The home is conveniently near grocery stores and a park. There are many sidewalks to get your exercise in the safe neighborhood.

A lovely quiet location on a small lake not far from stores for basic needs or trails for hiking. The beds were comfy and had quality linens and extra throw blankets for hanging out on the couch. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner provided. Basic kitchen supplies. Ceiling fans kept the temperature cool even on a warmer day. Bullfrogs singing at night was a treat.

Disliked: Communication
We appreciated our stay and enjoyed the house. A few things I would recommend are to spray some WD40 on the shared bathroom door, as it would wake members of the household up whenever someone used it in the middle of the night. Another suggestion would be to stock the kitchen with more basics (tongs, whisk, ziplocs). I would rate the stay higher except for one incident: the owners stopped by a couple times to go into the attached ADU unit, which is fine, except the first time we got no notice. I went for a walk with my girls and came back to a car in the driveway and seeing people through a window. I stood outside for about 10 minutes trying to get a hold of VRBO to make sure it was the owners. My girls and I were pretty spooked and almost called 911, so I recommend better communication in that sense. The second time they came there was an adequate day's notice.
