Overall this is a great stay. However the air conditioning was broken and would have been nice to know. The oven also did not work. Other than that it was a good place to stay for visiting Churchill Downs.

House was very clean. Living room did not have a place to sit and visit as their was a bed instead. House heat did not work,we notified owner and it still didnt work the next night. It must have been broke for a while because another review stated the air didnt work. Other than the no heat and no couch to sit on house is a good place to stay.

The check in process was seamless and the house was clean. However, when we arrived, the air conditioning was not working. I messaged the owner and received a quick response, but was skeptical of the response. I didn't read all the reviews before booking, but later read the A/C wasn't working for another recent booking. The owner had 6 fans around the house and there were several fan boxes in the garbage behind the house, clearly knowing the A/C was not working. I would have preferred communication in advance if the A/C was not working on a mid to upper 80 degree day. The booking was already non-refundable at that point, so there would not have been any lost income. It was 79 degrees in the house at 9pm and it was a very uncomfortable night sleeping. Cooler weather is ahead of us, but if A/C is necessary, please confirm prior to booking.

The property is lacking, but the host is responsive. We arrived to the house to find that it was very cold inside, and the heat was not working. We immediately notified the host and they were told somebody would come check it out. Unfortunately, that never happened and we had to heat the house using too small heaters that we found inside the janitorial closet. In the process of doing that we tripped the breaker. We again reached out to the host who instructed us where the breaker panel was, and we were able to reset it.Next, we realized there were only five towels provided, even though we specified that we would have seven people in the house. We again reached out to the host, which did have towels delivered to us.The Wi-Fi only worked for one of our guests, and the other guests would get an error that the network was unavailable. We’re all tech savvy people, so this does not seem to be a user error. The window in the foyer area is broken and the ceiling in one of the bedrooms has an apparent water leak with the plaster hanging down. During the night the plaster flakes fell onto our luggage.On the positive note, the beds are comfy, and they had warm blankets, which kept us warm with no heat. The showers were functional and we had hot water. The kitchen was large, but we did not use any of the appliances.
